Stampin' In Alaska

  Happy Saturday!  Alaska is experiencing a very rainy and cool summer this year.  What better way to spend a Saturday morning than in the craft room with Penny Black stamps. My card features the lovely Calm Waters scene from Penny Black.  The image was stamped onto watercolor paper with Versa Clair black ink then water colored with Tombow Markers.  I layered the image panel onto black card stock and kept the design clean and simple.  The finished card size is 6.5 x 3.75.  A sentiment from Unity Stamp Company finishes the card.   I'm joining the April Anything Goes challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  I recently ordered this fabulous scene stamp called Calm Waters .   It's a large stamp in red rubber that stamps beautifully and large enough to stand alone. The simple slimline design is finished with a birthday sentiment from Hero Arts.   I'm joining the March Anything Goes challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  I recently ordered this fabulous scene stamp called Calm Waters .   It's a large stamp in red rubber that stamps beautifully and large enough to stand alone. The image was stamped onto a Gelli Print base and wet embossed with clear powder.  Green Memento ink was sponged for the grass.  A simple birthday sentiment completes the card.
