Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm posting my final entry for the MFT Camp Create Week of Challenges with Day 1 - Spectacular Shakers .  My rocking shaker card features the adorable Birdie Brown Mermazing set. I started by die cutting a large circle from Stampin' Up! Night of Navy cardstock.  Designer paper is from Fancy Pants Designs Down by the Shore.  The mini shaker was layered onto the rocking base, then various images were layered for the scene.  All images were colored with Copic Markers.   I'm sharing my watercolor project for Day 2 of the MFT Camp Create - Wonderful Watercolor .  My card features the adorable Best Fins set. I started by stamping the images onto watercolor paper and water coloring with Tombow markers.   I also used a water color technique on the card panel base by splattering diluted distress inks with my brush. Designer paper is from MFT Positively Peppy paper pad.  Googly eyes and sequins complete the card. This card will be added to a group of children's cards going to the Christ Brings Hope Ministry for those diagnosed with cancer.   I'm joining Day 3 of Camp Create with an emboss resist background featuring the MFT Radiating Rays stencil and The Whole Herd stamp set. I started by using versafine with the stencil and heat embossing white powder.  I used my Gelli Arts plate for the ink resist with several Tim Holtz distress inks. Of course, I finished the card with a small herd of cows, a fun birthday sentiment and a few enamel dots.   I guess I'm working "backwards" through the Camp Create challenges!  Today is Day 4:  Background Bonanza.  My card features the adorable new Best Catch Ever set. The background was created with my Gelli Arts plate and distress inks.  After I applied several blue distress inks I used my roller then spritzed with water.  The panel was trimmed down to 2.25 then stamped with seaweed and smaller fish from the set.  The whale was fussy cut and colored with alcohol markers. A thin glitter strip and sentiment from the same set finish the card.
