Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog featuring the adorable Birdbath digital image.  I was a lucky challenge winner recently and this is one of the images I chose.  It has such a fun feel of Spring, don't you think? The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I'm currently "destashing" my craftroom and came across this adorable floral paper in my stash.  The fabric floral ribbon and metal leaf embellishments were also discovered in bins.  At the last minute, I grabbed the doily for extra texture.  The final card size is 5.5 square. I had a few minutes to play today with the current challenge over at Art Impressions .  We were asked to  make a tag... and I chose to create a birthday bottle gift tag. (Who doesn't love to receive Bath & Body Works goodies?) My tag began with cutting the Spellbinder  Long Classic Rectangle and scoring about half way.  I then used a Spellbinder circle die for the top to slide over the soap pump.  The cake image from AI's Chocolate Therapy was colored with Copic Markers.  Stickles were  added to the candle flame.  Brown liquid applique was added to the cake icing. I fussy cut the image and layered onto a doily which was sprayed with dylusions ink spray and distress ink. I'm sharing a quick Anniversary card featuring the Mojo Monday Sketch #479 and Wishing You set from Verve. The sentiment has been layered onto Stampin' Up! In Color designer papers.  I added a doily from my stash. A machine stitched border and Verve sequins finish the card. This will be going in the mail to my in-laws for their upcoming 51st wedding anniversary.
