I'm joining the current Impression Obsession challenge with a fun digital image from IO called Color Your Hair - NOLA001. When I saw this image in the IO shop it made me laugh so hard.  I couldn't wait to color it up!  It was colored with Copic Markers and layered onto papers from Doodlebug Design. I'm playing along with the current challenge at Paper Smooches.  Happy Things can pretty much include all of the Paper Smooches stamps!  I pulled out one of my favorites - Birthday Buddies .   The image was stamped onto kraft cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.   I kept the design clean and simple with lots of "white space" for the current AAA Cards challenge. The cloudy sky was sponged with Memento Danube blue and a scallop stencil die as a mask.  A sentiment from Hero Arts and sequins finish the card. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I created my scene with a Cityscape Nightline die from Memory Box and cloud paper from my stash.  A few hand drawn hash lines on gray cardstock makes a road! I'm joining the current AAA Birthday challenge with this fun birthday image.  While visiting my family last Fall, I stamped a few of my Mom's and brought them home with me to color.  Sorry, I failed to write down the name of the stamp or company.  Boo-Hoo! It works perfectly with the stripe and polka dot papers from MFT.  The birthday sentiment is from Stampin' Up!  A few enamel dots finish the card. There's a new challenge up over at Di's Digi Design Blog.  This week is Pretty in Pastel.  I had Di's sweet Animal Ark printed and thought it would be perfect for the challenge.  I also needed a baby card for an upcoming shower in my office.   The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered onto papers from the October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper pad.  A little grosgrain ribbon and sentiment from Crafty Secrets finishes the card. For this week's challenge, we'd like you to make a card or project just for YOU, using all of your very favorite things! I'm playing along with Your Next Stamp and their challenge to use Pastels.  I created a pastel cloudy sky using Tim Holtz Distress inks.  The silhouette scene is a retired YNS stamp called Home Sweet Home.  A few sequins and gems finish the card.  The sentiment is from Verve Stamps - sadly now out of business. I'm joining the April "Let's Go Digital" Challenge at Power Poppy.  I recently purchased their adorable Potted Geranium digital se t from the shop.  Marcella has this set on sale right now for $2.49!  I love working with digital images.  They are so versatile and easy to store!  Of course, you must have a computer and printer.  I picked up a Canon Pixma at Wal-mart recently for $25 and it works great!  The digital image can be sized as big or small as you want to fit your design.  I {LOVE} that! I colored the image with Copic Markers and die cut with my new MFT Wonky Stitched die.  The designer paper is from my stash of Basic Grey - Indie Bloom.  I thought it would be perfect.  A little ribbon from my stash finishes the card. I recently began participating with the challenges at AAA Cards.  It surely takes me out of my comfort zone!  I pulled out an older stencil from Memory Box and stamped a couple of little bees from Honeybee Stamps.  I finished by adding Wink of Stella to the wings. The current Paper Smooches challenge is Pastel.  The adorable little jukebox in the Perpetual Bliss set caught my eye tonight.  I remembered having the pink and yellow paper in my scrap pile.  Everything else went together from there! I stamped the image onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers.  I then fussy cut and adhered it to the layers.  The coordinating sentiment is from the same set.  A few musical notes finish the card. I'm joining the current House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with the adorable House-Mouse Designs Puddle Jumpers.   I included the optional sparkle with LOTS of Stickles on this rainy scene. The image was colored with Tombow Markers and blended.  I water colored the sky and watery ground with Tim Holtz distress inks.  After it was dry, I came back and applied Waterfall Stickles to all of the raindrops.    This was so fun to color and create!  I finished the card with an embossed sentiment on vellum from Stampin' Up!  The Wonky Rectangle die used for the main panel is from My Favorite Things. I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Designs with this cute digital birthday image called Dilly the Dog.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers. I went with a coordinating light green card stock base for the card.  A large swirl background stamp was used with white embossing powder for added texture and interest.  The image was layered onto birthday themed paper from my scraps. The current Art Impressions Challenge is all about flowers.  I recently purchased the adorable Enjoy the Ride Set .  I thought the bicycle and flower basket would make a great Spring Floral scene. The bicycle was colored with Copic Markers and masked.  The cloudy sky was sponged then flowers were stamped from the AI Garden Wagon Mini set.  Coordinating designer papers, prima flowers and pearls finish the card.
