Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm playing with the current Hero Arts challenge - Fall Colors.  My card features the September 2020 Monthly Kit.  I love this fall themed layering set and the fun scenes.  I've combined it with the Sunflower Layered set.   Good morning!  I'm sharing a Fall card for the current SugarPea challenge.  I chose to use the fun sketch this month. The sweet bear from the Hey Fall set was water colored with my Peerless colors.  It was layered onto designer papers from a JoAnn's fall paper pad in my stash. I finished with a few enamel dots and a sentiment from Unity Stamps.  This will go into my Thanksgiving card stash.   The October optional challenge at Mo's Digital blog is Autumn.  I printed the sweet Hello Autumn image onto Kraft cardstock.  I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils then fussy cut the rack. The image was layered onto a couple of fall designer papers from my stash.  I finished with a Thanksgiving sentiment and a few enamel dots.   Good morning!  It's looking like Fall/Winter in Alaska and I'm getting a head start on my Thanksgiving cards.   I purchased the adorable Cuddlebug Raccoon from Unity Stamps last year and did not get a chance to ink it up.  Oh, is he the cutest!  Why did I wait??  I had fun practicing with my Peerless water colors again. My card design was inspired by Crystal O. Minkler, designer for Unity Stamps.  You can see her beautiful card here .  The Pumpkin Patch border is also from Unity Stamps. It was colored with Tombow markers and water colors then fussy cut for the corner border.  I love the single layer card design and how the sentiment is tucked behind the raccoon image.  The raccoon has been layered onto a much treasured piece of Basic Grey card stock.  I'm trying to use items from my stash this year!   I'm joining the Share Your Designs challenge with a fun Thanksgiving card featuring Gerda Steiner's Moose Love set .  This moose makes me smile!  It may not be intended for Thanksgiving, but since I live in Alaska (with moose in my front yard!) I use the image for any occasion.  The moose was stamped onto water color paper and water colored with my Peerless colors.  Fussy cut and layered onto a Gelli print panel with a fun dimond die cut cover.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamps.   I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with a mini slimline birthday card.  My card features critters from the adorable Baby Critters Set . The images were stamped onto water color paper and die cut.  I colored the images with Tombow markers and blended.  This set is perfect for birthday party scenes and the slimline card size worked perfectly! My party scene is layered onto papers from Carta Bella with a small strip of glitter card stock.  I finished the card with Stickles accents and a few star embellishments.
