Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining Di's Digi Challenge with a recent freebie called Garden Friends.  Such a cute scene and I love the sweet fox!  It was tough to narrow down my Favorite color combo... but I do like using orange, green and yellow. The image was colored with alcohol markers. I sponged the background with Memento Danube Blue ink.  A wonky stitched die cut was used for the scene then layered onto papers from Pebbles Garden Party paper pad.  Finally, twine and a button were added for texture to complete the card.   I hope everyone is having a crafty weekend!  We saw our first snowfall in Anchorage yesterday.  It gave me an "excuse" to snuggle in and water color last night! This adorable little Conga Line celebration is a new set by Anita Jeram for Colorado Craft Company.  I stamped the image onto water color paper then used my Peerless water color sheets for the little critters and the confetti background. The party hats have been paper pieced and a little pom pom added for dimension.  I heat embossed the coordinating sentiment to make it pop!  Finally, I kept my card simple by layering the scene onto a glittery base.   I'm joining the current Mo's challenge to use one of her retiring images.  It was SO hard to select an image for this challenge!  There are so many adorable images retiring. My card features the adorable In The Bath .  The image was colored with alcohol markers and prismacolor pencils.   I wanted to the little girl to come off the card so I fussy cut the top portion of the scene.  It was mounted onto 4.25 SU Regal Rose card stock and folded.  I remembered the fun Sizzix Bright Bubbles die cut in my stash. Perfect!!   I'm joining the current Anything Goes Challenge at Beccy's Place with the option to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) yourself challenge.  My card features Beccy's adorable Funny Farm digital stamp set .  The critters in the set make me smile!  I hope this brings a smile to the recipient! I used the pre-colored version of the horse and a coordinating sentiment.  The card base is a Gelli print from my stash.  I just received (and LOVE) the die cut from Kat Scrappiness.  You can see the card I've CASE'd here .   Good morning!  I'm sharing a Fall coffee themed card for this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  My mini slimline card features the adorable Sweater Weather in the Woods set. The cute critters were colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  Coordinating papers are from Doodlebug Pumpkin Spice paper pad.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi with 2 or more patterned papers.  My card features Di's adorable Cherry Blossom Mice image. The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.  It was die cut and layered onto various papers from my scrap pile.  I finished with a die cut sentiment and a few pearls.   I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge - Shaken, Not Stirred (include a drink).  I took advantage of the recent Anniversary sale at AI and got this adorable fall set called Feast Mode.  The fox looks very satisfied sitting on the pumpkin enjoying his coffee! The image was colored with Copic Markers, die cut and layered onto papers from Carta Bella Welcome Autumn. I used a tag from my stash for the sentiment and added a few enamel dots to finish the card.   I'm joining the current Create A Smile Challenge using colors from their moodboard.  My card features a CAS freebie digital image called Birdy. The image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered with a mini wobbler.  I used Gelli print scraps for the base panel.  The oval frame was also in my scrap pile.  It's so fun for me when a card comes together so quickly and using items in my scrap bin.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with a sweet mousey image from the Stampendous Spring Mini set. The image was stamped onto a Gelli Print and colored with Tombow Markers.  A retired Stampin' Up! French Script background was stamped with Moss Green Hero Arts ink over the Gelli print.  I finished with a few SU gems and an Anniversary die cut. The House Mouse image was perfect for the mini slimline design.  I have several Anniversaries coming up and this worked perfectly.
