  I'm sharing a fun card for the current sketch challenge at  Your Next Stamp featuring the adorable Perk Up! set.  The image was colored with Copic markers and Spectrum Noir. I fussy cut and layered it onto  designer papers from Pebbles Inc Garden Party paper pad. I am joining the current challenge over at Art Impressions with this fun card. We have been asked to create our  own background. My background was created with a stencil from My Favorite Things called Sun Ray.  It was inked with Colorbox pigment cateyes.  I then sprayed over the stenciled sun ray with Lemon Zest Dylusions spray. The Art Impressions image and  sentiment are called Giraffe set .  This set is PERFECT for the current 2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop .  Art Impressions is also a sponsor of the 2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I'm sharing a sunshine, summery, coffee themed card for this week's Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things .  I started with the coffee cup from  Stampin' Up called Perfect Blend and sentiment from a retired MFT set called CS Coffee.   I replaced the heart shape with a yellow Inverted Scalloped Circle which reminds me of a sun shape.  Summery papers from  Pebbles Inc, rhinestones and a machine stitched border complete the card.  Thanks so much for stopping by! There is a fun photo inspiration Challenge  for you this week at Catch the Bug .  My clean and simple design features Bugaboo's Ice Cream Dog. The image was colored with Copic markers and Spectrum Noir.   I thought the sentiment coordinated perfectly with this poor pup. The current sketch challenge at Your Next Stamp had me stumped. I overcame my "fear" of the diagonal panels and came up with this simple little "Thinking of You" card. It features an image from Aquarium Antics which has been stamped onto water color paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.   The embellishments are minimal since it is intended for a male recipient.    Thanks for taking a look! I love a sketch challenge! This was another tough one for me but I wanted to join the fun at Christian Card Makers. A really challenging sketch for me  this week over at My Favorite Things. I like the end result using the adorable MFT The Whole Herd stamp and die set. The grass die is also from MFT. The current Art Impressions Challenge is Let's Distress .   I have included ink distressing on the edges of each panel in my summer scene. My card features a couple of images from the adorable Art Impressions clear set His & Hers Campers . I have used the set for a quick Father's Day card. Memento dew drop inks were used to ink  the edges of the panels and the sun die. Inks used were;  Pear Tart, Summer Sky, Tangelo, Dersert Sand and Rich Cocoa. The stamped images were colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. Various dies were used from My Favorite Things and Lil' Inker Designs. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look! This is the last of my Father's Day cards for this year.  Whew! Have you heard?  June will be the last challenge sponsored by Great Impressions. Their final challenge theme is masculine. Perfect timing for birthday or Father's Day! I purchased this image from my local stamp store a few years ago.  It is Great Impressions,  but it appears that it may now be retired. I loved the Labrador riding in the back of the vintage truck!  I HAD to have it. I kept a clean and simple design since this will be going in the mail to my Father in Law.
