Stampin' In Alaska

I have to admit, I have lost my coloring mojo these past few weeks! However, I really wanted to participate in this week's  Sassy Cheryl Challenge . This week's challenge is to create a project "off the page". My card is very clean and simple using a vintage image called " Crabby Surprise ".  I have cropped the  image and used only the crab image. The sky and sand were sponged using Spellbinder dies.   The sun was created using a MFT die-namics die and the Swissdot embossing folder from Cuttlebug. Sassy Pat has challenged us this week to create a card that is anything but square.  Of course, I had a couple of ideas rolling around, but this rectangle 6.5 by 3.5 card is what I came up with.  I already had "Crabby Surprise" colored so I did a little altering and this is the finished card. The image was colored with Copic Markers.  Lucky for you, this image is still available and on sale for $2.00 right now.  Check is out HERE before it's gone. The sun was created using an MFT die-namics, felt and fun foam.  A couple of dew drops were added for dimension.  A machine stitching border was added for the base and the crab was cut out and popped up.  The base designer paper is from the Echo Park Splash paper pack.
