Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm sharing a fun rocker card for the current challenge at Art Impressions.  The theme is "Farm Fresh" so I pulled out a fun chicken couple from the AI retired Bird-Brains line called Dancing Birdie & Scratch (U1831). The chicken couple was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The rocking base started with a large circle die and simply folded in half with a smaller circle of designer paper.  A couple of music note die cuts, sentiment and jute bow finish the card. This will be going to a college friend and her husband for their upcoming wedding anniversary.   Good morning!  I needed an Anniversary card for my aunt and uncle who have chickens.  Of course, I bought this AI Bird-Brains image with them in mind.  This is a retired image called Dancing Birdie & Scratch.   The image was colored with Tombow markers on water color paper.  The image is so large that I kept my design CAS with only the sentiment die cut and designer paper borders.   I couldn't resist playing along with the current Art Impressions challenge to include an animal.  Bonnie has such a humorous way of creating the AI images.  The animals are all so fun.  I purchased this retired image a couple of years ago from their Bird Brains line.  It could be used for so many occasions. I stamped the scene with the chicken and hay bale from AI.  The images were colored with Tombow markers then the background was loosely water colored. I have recently enjoyed creating a vertical mini slimline design.  Using a sheet of 12 x 12 card stock I cut at 3.25 then fold at 6 inches.  It worked perfectly for my barnyard scene!
