Beccy's Place October New Release - Country Christmas

Beccy has designed another holiday inspired set this month called Country Christmas.  You can find this digital set at Beccy's Place online store now. I've created two project featuring the new set.  The first clean and simple card was printed onto kraft card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Stickles were added for dimension.  I really liked how the hanging stars fit perfectly onto the sentiment! A second project started by recycling a wood block which was left over after removing the rubber mounted stamp.  The block was painted with acrylic paint.  The pre-colored image was merged onto  sheet music then printed and glued to the block.  Additional paints and splatter were added.  I finished with the burlap ribbon edging and Stickles on the ornaments. Be sure to stop by Beccy's Place store to find this set and many others.  Beccy also generously provides many free digital images, tutorials, videos and card fold ideas....

Beccy's Place October Digital Release - Nicholas Claus

When you purchase this digital set, you will receive a zip file containing: - 2 black and white line drawings - 2 full colour images - 5 word images / sentiments My first project showcases the sitting Claus image.  The image was cropped and paper pieced then layered onto a snowflake white embossed panel.  A coordinating sentiment and rhinestones finish the card. Santa in his workshop seemed perfect for a shaker ornament.  The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock, colored with alcohol markers then fussy cut.  A circle shaker with snowflake elements was layered onto red glitter card stock with a silver cord to finish.  Be sure to stop by Beccy's Place store to find this set and many others.  Beccy also generously provides many free digital images, tutorials, videos and ...

Glittery Happy Holidays

I pulled out a fun Colorado Craft set called Teamwork to create a glittery Holiday card for my stash.  The image was colored with Copic markers then layered onto a blue glitter card stock panel.  I found a few sparkly snowflakes in my stash for accents. I love Anita Jeram's artwork style and this group of critters are adorable! I would like to share my card with the following: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  Make It Sparkle Allsorts Challenge:  Week 756 AG or Winter Colors We Love Stamping:  Christmas Characters TIME OUT Challenges:  #252 Winter/Holiday

Beccy's Place October New Release - Sandy Christmas digital set

Beccy has created an adorable holiday set for anyone sending Sandy Christmas wishes!  Whether you live in a warm climate (or like me) wish that you did!  The new Sandy Christmas digital contains three adorable sandy snowmen and five coordinating sentiments. My first project is a set a gift tags and came together so quickly by using the pre-colored images included in the set.  I love the soft color combination that Beccy used for the sweet sandy snowmen.  I knew right away they would be perfect for gift tags! The second card features Steve and was colored with Copic markers.  Hero Arts sand embossing powder was applied to the snowman and beach.  The image was layered simply onto papers from Echo Park Paradise Beach paper pad. A shaker card design features Shazza (I love how Beccy gives all of her characters a fun name!) and was colored with Copic markers.  Die cut palm tree and sun fill out this sunny holiday beach scene.  Be sure to stop by...

Happy Holidays

I purchased the adorable Teamwork set from Colorado Craft Company recently.  I'm just in love with the sweet critters and whimsical style of Anita Jeram! The image is large 3.75 x 4 and was stamped onto water color paper.  It was colored with Tombow markers and blended.  I kept the design clean and simple to focus on the sweet scene.  This will be going to a co-worker with a little Christmas gift!
