Monochromatic Hello

Good morning!  I'm sharing a group of monochromatic designs that will be going out to the Send Senior Citizens Love card drive hosted by Splitcoast Stampers .   I was touched after reading Ashley Lynch's story and how she began the program during the pandemic and lockdown of so many nursing homes.  She began sending notes of encouragement personally which is now a nationwide mission. This group of cards began with my large stack of paper scraps.  All papers are from Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo and Peach Parfait. The word dies are Spellbinder  Hello Smile.  Cuttlebug embossing folders were used for the base panel.  A little thread and gems from my stash finish the cards. I would like to share my cards with the following: Allsorts Challenge:  #849 Monochromatic Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  Use Craft Dies Word Art Wednesday:  Anything Goes PIP #2619 Anything Goes

Art Impressions Challenge: #395 Monochromatic

I'm playing along with the current challenge at Art Impressions - Monochromatic .  My card features the adorable Frog Set .  The image was colored with Copic Markers.  I went through my paper scraps and die cut several circles from coordinating papers.  An easy sketch with the circles randomly randomed onto an embossed panel. The sentiments with this set are so fun.  I've included another as an inside sentiment:  "I've been toad you're having a birthday!" All Dressed Up Challenge #141 Anything Goes

I'm joining the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog and FB Challenges with this fun Boy Birthday Card.  My card features the adorable Garden Boy digital image. I had so much fun experimenting with coloring this image.  I pulled out all of my cool grey alcohol markers and really had fun.  I'm so pleased with the result.  Hopefully, I get a chance to use this technique again.   I went through several paper options before finding these designer papers in my stash from American Crafts Studio Calico Darling Dear paper pad.  They worked perfectly.  A simple sentiment from MFT and enamel dots finish the card.
