Growing in Unity - Day 4

 Welcome to Day 4
of my week as the
veteran Growing in Unity gal!

I will be posting a fun Unity Project
each day this week.  Please be sure to
stop by each post from this week
and leave a comment.

Not only do I enjoy reading your comments
BUT I will be drawing two random
winners from this week’s comments
to receive a grab bag of Unity stamps.

My addiction to Unity Stamps
began when I was introduced
to Phyllis Harris and her
wonderful children's illustrations.

I have been featuring Phyllis Harris
images all week and today I've chosen
and
I love the effect that the embossing
gave to this image.  White CTMH emboss
powder was used and then colored with
Prismacolor pencils.

These images are so big and really
speak for themselves.  I add very little
embellishments.
Doesn't this little scene just make
you SMILE?

This stamp was colored with Prismacolor
pencils and blended with Baby Oil.
A couple of wooden heart embellishments,
with rhinestones, twine and a machine stitched
border finish the card.

Yesterday I shared a couple of photos
from our recent visit to Maui.
A few of you have left comments about
my home state of Alaska so I am sharing
a couple of photos taken around the
Anchorage area.
A local park where I walk with the Chugach Mtn Range in the background.

Cross Country Skiing with the pups!

A bull moose we came across while walking in town.
Thanks again for taking the time to stop by!
Tomorrow will be my final day
sharing with Unity Stamps as
their GIU gal.

I'm sharing my cards with the following:
Word Art Wednesday:  Anything Goes #274 - 275
 TTCRD:  March 14 Anything Goes
Kraftin' Kimmie ChallengeMarch Release  Anything Goes
Crafting From the Heart:  #150 Anything Goes

I love both of these stamps and have them! I love the embossing you did on the Kraft! It never occurred to me to do that. I used glossy accents to accent the rain. I love Brandy and Emma. It reminds me of my childhood. My dog wasn't this breed but he was big...a St. Bernard and we were inseparable! I used this stamp set to make my dad's birthday card last year. He loved it as it gave him the same memory it gave me :) What fun to get to see wildlife like moose where you live! Your dogs are cute! Thanks again for sharing your creativity and a little about you!

Love the effect with the embossing powder, especially with the rain on the all things new card. I will have to try that. I will also have to try your trick with using baby oil to blend pencils. (are they ordinary pencil crayons or water colour ones?) Thanks for sharing your pictures of your trip and your home. Love the picture of the moose!
I love these stamps and you have done an excellent job showcasing them with your beautiful cards.
