Jellypark Friends Challenge - Pinktober

This week's Jellypark challenge is "Pinktober" -- to include lots of pink on our project. I printed out this sweet " Just for You " tag for use in a pocket card.  The pocket card is for a Hope You Can Cling To Challenge over on Splitcoast stampers. The designer papers are Raspberry Tart from Stampin' Up!   They really are a nice, coordinating pink IRL.  You can find the Trifold Pocket Card Tutorial HERE . Thanks for stopping by for a closer look! I hope you are having a creative week.

Art Impressions Challenge #121 - Perfect Papers

I hope you are having a fabulous Sunday! I am stopping in with a quick post for this week's Art Impressions Challenge - Perfect Papers. Our challenge is to use three pattern papers and/or textures. My card includes three patterned papers and several  different textures.  This "cool" little penguin is from Art Impressions called " Surfer Dude ". He was embossed with black embossing powder from  Close To My Heart and colored with Sakura glaze pens and Copic Markers. A layer of dimensional glaze was applied to the surfboard. The sun was die cut using fun foam!  Love the dimension it provides to the project. This bright, cheerful card is going to the  MD Anderson Cancer Center for patients and families.  The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness  and Splitcoast Stampers is hosting a card drive for MD Anderson. You can check out all of the details on the   Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Forum . ...

Create With TLC and Hope You Can Cling To Challenge

Happy Wednesday! I am back with my second post for the day.   (that doesn't happen often!) I picked up a couple of free digital images from Paulette over on the Create With TLC Blog a couple of months ago. Today's Hope You Can Cling To Challenge was the perfect opportunity to put them to use. Our challenge today was to create something inspired by a fairy tale.  The Disney theme song kept running  through my head.... "When you wish upon a star..." When you wish upon a star Makes no difference who you are Anything your heart desires Will come to you If your heart is in your dream No request is too extreme When you wish upon a star As dreamers do Fate is kind She brings to those to love The sweet fulfillment of Their secret longing Like a bolt out of the blue Fate steps in and sees you through When you wish upon a star Your dreams come true Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a creative week.

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Challenge

Good morning! Hubby and I just returned from a visit with family. We had lots of good food, fellowship,  great memories! Thought I would stop in quickly this morning to share a couple of photos from the trip with my friends over on the Sassy Cheryl Show Me Challenge Blog . It rarely happens that all of the family is together at one time.   We had to preserve the memory with my parents, siblings and their spouses. My parents put out a Fall garden this year and they dug up their sweet potatoes while we were there.  I had to share this 3.5 pound sweet potato that they dug!  Yikes! My mom wanted to send it home with us, but I told her it might push my luggage over the 50 pound limit!  LOL! I hope you get a chance to play along with  the Sassy ladies this month.  You have until October 30 to post and share.... it doesn't have to be anything crafty, just what is going on in your part o...

Crafty Secrets October Linky Party

Happy Wednesday everyone! Sandy is hosting a linky party on the Crafty Secrets blog again this month.  I recently bought two  of the printable baby cards. This card is the Baby Boy Print-and-fold . This adorable printable is ONLY .99! Isn't it just precious?  I love the sweet Vintage images and font. It was so easy to put together. I printed the file and cut it out where instructed. Sassy Cheryl Show Me

I have a project to share with the Sassy Ladies  over on Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Challenge blog this week. I bought these adorable 7gypsies shadowbox trays from my LLS - Stamp Attic and finally got my project together this week. I have literally agonized over the little elements for the three window boxes.  But after I picked out the  coordinating papers it all seemed to go together so quickly! I have created one for each of my nieces featuring a baby photo.  These were to be my sister's Mother's Day gift a year ago. Better late than never, I guess! I just hope she likes them.

Jellypark Friends and Hope You Can Cling To Challenges

I hope your weekend has started off great. I'm stopping by with a fun card for  this week's Jellypark Friends Challenge : Anything Goes. This sweet image was colored with Copic Markers and  fussy cut then popped up on a felt die cut circle. This card is also for Day 5 of the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers. Lee challenged us to use Pink Camouflage somewhere on our project. I created my own camouflage panel by using fun foam (thanks for the tip from Cook22 and MrsLaird), Spellbinder Heart Nestibilities and two Memento Dew Drop inks:  Angel Pink and Rose Bud. The digital sentiment is a freebie from  Create With TLC . I am also sharing this card over on the  Create With TLC Show It Off Sunday Linky Party.
