Today is New Release day at Bugaboo. The design team is featuring one of today's new images called Spring Duck. This sweet image was printed twice. The second time on gingham paper  and fussy cut to paper piece the duck. The image was colored with Copic Markers, Stickles were applied for dimension and a machine stitched border  finishes the card. Monday's on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog feature projects which are Anything But a Card. The Design Team really  goes all out to share a little  extra inspiration with you each week. My project is an altered treat box featuring Peaches Balloons . This sweet image was colored with Copic Markers and the shading was done with charcoal pencils. It's Friday and that means  fun with Unity Stamps and  Friends With Flair! I am sharing a little scrapbook today that I created by  altering a children's Golden book. This was a super fun project and the various stamps from Unity  worked perfectly! My sister and her family will be visiting  Disney World in May. It will be their first visit.  While cruising Pinterest, I came across this idea and decided to give it a try for their family photos and memorabilia from the trip. I hope everyone had a great week! Although I have been working on  Saturday, I still look forward to Friday and the Unity Stamps Friends with Flair. This week I am sharing a quick and easy scrapbook page for my Pup Gingersnap. Yes, I have a special scrapbook for each of my "furry kids". I started my page with  pre-printed dog themed paper. I think this would be a perfect birthday card for a little boy.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and glossy accents covers the space helmet. The sentiment was computer generated. Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps recently released some fabulous new clear stamp sets. You can check them all out HERE . The Sweet 'n Sassy Release Challenge is to include pets on our projects. My card features Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Valentine Critters and  Across the Miles (Retired by Dina Kowal) I fussy cut the adorable pup image and paper pieced the little heart with coordinating paper. The main panel scene was sponged using Memento inks. I'm sharing a sweet card this morning with the Crafty Secrets Linky Party . They have generously provided a very sweet digital image and papers this month from their Garden Paper and Garden Girls digital sets. I went "old school" and used the same image from their clear stamp set. The image was stamped with Versafine ink on  water color paper then colored with distress reinkers. I love the vivid water color effect. This is a bittersweet post for me as it will be my last for Meljen's Designs . Melissa has announced the shop closure which will be at the end of March. Today is New Release day at Bugaboo. The design team is featuring one of today's new images called Bunny Block Trio. The row of bunny blocks inspired me to use a card size of 6.50 x 3.25 for this card. The image was colored with Copic markers and several layers were added including a  swiss dot embossed layer.   The layout for this card was inspired by SC259 from Splitcoast Stampers.
