Stampin' In Alaska

  I am joining the current challenge at The Paper Shelter with the optional twist to use Cuties.  My card features the pre-colored version of TPS Most Adorable Ducky digital image. The image has been layered onto a panel using the marble technique.  Stampin' Up!  Cameo Coral and Old Olive card stock were used as accents.  A sentiment from Paper Smooches and enamel dots complete the card. A sad and fond farewell to Paper Smooches!! I'm playing along with the current Birthday challenge on the Paper Smooches blog.  I pulled out Chubby Chum Pals and inked up this cutie moose image.  It was colored with Prismacolors. I'm joining the current Paper Smooches challenge - Black and White with a Pop of color.  I pulled out a favorite PS set - Paws for a Cause for this challenge. I started by sponging a sunray stencil on the base panel.  Using my Misti, I stamped the dog silhouette and sentiment from the PS Sentiment Sampler set.  A couple of pieces of washi tape finishes the card. Just in case you haven't heard the (sad) news, Kim will be closing the Paper Smooches store.  She is currently liquidating the store with a retiring sale this summer.  Be sure to stop by and check it out! I'm sneaking in a fun birthday card for the current Paper Smooches challenge featuring the adorable Boob Tubes set.   The TV images were stamped with Adirondack inks - Lettuce, Bottle and Red Pepper.  I added a few enamel dots to the TV knobs for dimension and sponged the background panel with distress ink. The panel was die cut and adhered with dimension foam onto a recycled paper bag. I'm giving the "Slimline" card design a try for the first time!  A much larger canvas, but fun! I'm joining the current Paper Smooches challenge with a couple of their free digital images that you can find HERE .  After rummaging through all of my PS sets I realized that not one of them included a flower!  Thanks to Kim, I was able to join the fun with her generous digital images. I printed the images onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut and colored with Copic Markers.  The cute bird was framed with the PS Polaroid die cut.  I LOVE the font of the sentiment from PS Sentiment Sampler set. It saddens me to see a recent post from Kim, owner of Paper Smooches, announcing that she will be closing the shop.  You can read her full post HERE .  The stamping community is losing another great family owned company who has provided excellent products and customer service.  I personally wish her well and know that we will see her around blogland.  I would like to share my card with the following: Paper Smooches Challen...

I'm playing along with the current challenge at Paper Smooches.  Happy Things can pretty much include all of the Paper Smooches stamps!  I pulled out one of my favorites - Birthday Buddies .   The image was stamped onto kraft cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.   I kept the design clean and simple with lots of "white space" for the current AAA Cards challenge. The current Paper Smooches challenge is Pastel.  The adorable little jukebox in the Perpetual Bliss set caught my eye tonight.  I remembered having the pink and yellow paper in my scrap pile.  Everything else went together from there! I stamped the image onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers.  I then fussy cut and adhered it to the layers.  The coordinating sentiment is from the same set.  A few musical notes finish the card. Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge  this week is Anything Goes! I decided to go very clean and simple with this week's card. I hope everyone had a great  start to the week! This week's challenge on the  Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Blog is Anything Goes! (You gotta love that!) My card features two Paper Smooches Stamp sets Sentiment Sampler and  Boob Tubes I mail most of my cards to family and friends out of state.  So many of my designs are  pretty clean and simple. I really like how this turned out! The TV images were stamped using Stream, Lettuce and Red Pepper Adirondack dye inks. The image panel was layered on designer paper from Stampin' Up! This week's Picture Perfect challenge at  Paper Smooches SPARKS blog really caught my eye! So many possibilities.... metal, colors and  of course the stacked pebbles. My card features Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals  and Surf and Turf The images were colored with Copic markers.  Glossy accents were added to various areas and Liquid Applique was added to the hats.
