Stampin' In Alaska

  Happy Thursday blogger friends!  Blogger was acting up this morning, but I prevailed! I created a shaker ATC for the current House Mouse & Friends Challenge to add sparkle.  I have recently been experimenting with altered playing cards which was inspired by  @StampyMom5 on Instagram.  For my project I began by using a square die cut to remove the center of the card.  The shaker was created with embellishment packaging from my stash.  Little bits of book paper and Gelli print tissue paper were adhered for the "frame".  A small amount of Ranger Opaque Crackle Texture Paste was applied to the corners. Of course, the main focus of the project is little Mudpie & Muzzy!  This is an older Stampendous cling stamp called Cookie Crumbles (2018).  It was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and adhered to the card with a distressed leaf die and gold thread.   This week the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge option is Torn Paper .  I thought this would be a fun challenge to try this torn paper frame.   I stamped and colored House Mouse Designs Brew-tiful Day stamp then applied coffee themed designer paper as a frame.  The sentiment is from an older Hero Arts monthly kit.   I'm joining the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - Bright Colors with the adorable Blueberry Buddies stamp set .  I couldn't resist these mischievous little mice during a recent trip to my local stamping store! The image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  It was then die cut with Waffle Flower A2 Lacy Layers nesting dies.  I pulled out some bright, fruity designer paper from Stampin' Up! to coordinate and finished with gems and a Birthday sentiment tab from Memory Box.   I'm sharing a fun summer shaped card for the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge  - Water Fun !  The House Mouse Water Fun image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.   An ink blended background was created with a sunburst stencil from My Favorite Things and Tim Holtz distress inks.  The shaped panel and card were die cut with Unity Stamp Company Scallops & Arches nesting dies .  A few dewdrops finish the card.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with a fun tuxedo style fold card.  My card features House Mouse Designs Sweet Nectar stamp set colored with Copic markers.  Designer paper is Recollections and Simple Stories Lavendar fields. This was a new card fold design for me with lots of dimension.  I really like that it folds flat to 5x6 for mailing.  A sentiment from the same set was used along with a couple of bee stickers from KC & Company.   My easel fold card features the adorable Lavender Bird Feeder stamp set from House Mouse Designs .  We have two hummingbird feeders at our house and they are visiting us constantly.  It's kind of amazing how small and quick they are. I started by coloring the stamped scene with Copic Markers.  It was die cut with Unity Stamp Company stitched postage die.  Designer papers are from My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories.  The sentiment was die cut with the MFT Happy Bday dienamic and Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum card stock.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Challenge with the adorable Stay Cool set.  The image was stamped onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using VersaFine Clair Pinecone pigment ink.  It was colored with the following Copic Markers:  R17, Y11, R02, E33, C1 and C2.  All circles were die cut using Pink and Main Stitched Circle Dies (PNM061) .   Mod Podge dimensional magic was applied to the ice cubes.  A coordinating sentiment and gems from Sunny Studio Stamps complete the card.   I'm sharing a sweet birthday card featuring House Mouse Designs Flower Market stamp .  The image was colored with Copic Markers and die cut with Unity Stamps postage die. I layered the image onto various patterned paper from the Simple Stories Homespun 6x6 paper pad.  Memory Box foiled Greeting Tab and enamel dots finish the card.   I'm joining the current House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge with a fun birthday treat card design.  My card features the adorable Sweet Birthday (RSC-027) from Spellbinders. The image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I used only half of the stamped image on the front and the birthday cake inside. The front panel was partially dry embossed then sprayed with Dylusions ink sprays .  The panel was layered onto designer paper from Stampin' Up!  A coordinating sentiment from the set and enamel dots from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) complete the card.   I'm joining this week's challenge at House Mouse and Friends using pastel colors.  My card features an older wood mount House Mouse stamp call Glitter Hearts (1998).  Such a fun and festive scene! The image was colored with Copic Markers and die cut with a Gina Marie stitched square die.  Designer papers were in my stash from Dena Designs, Inc.  A few enamel dots complete the card.   My card was inspired by "Green" which is this week's optional challenge prompt at House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge . The House Mouse image is an older wood mounted stamp from Stampabilities called Feed and Seed (2005).  I used a stencil and distress ink for the background.  The designer paper was in my stash and the sentiment was computer generated.  A few pearls finish the 5.5 inch square card.   It's been a while since I've posted on my blog.  It seems that most bloggers are now using IG or FB.  If you follow me, I am still checking my reading list and enjoy seeing your posts. Today I'm playing along with House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.  The optional challenge is snow, but I went with the Anything Goes theme with this cute woodblock stamp called Knit Gift from Stampendous (2006).  As you can see below, I've inked only a part of the stamp for this clean and simple card. The lightly stenciled background is the Ugly Sweater stencil from PhotoPlay.  The block was inked with VersaClarie Pinecone ink and colored with Copic Markers.  Gems are Stampin' Up! and the sentiment die is from Sizzix.   Good morning!  It's been awhile since I've posted here.  I hope all is well with you and your family. Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card with you for the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - Christmas Cheer .  With my recent move I've found a local stamping store and have made several trips to visit.  During my last visit I couldn't resist this adorable Hot Cocoa Day set from House Mouse Designs.   I'm sharing a fun mousey card featuring House Mouse Designs Breezy Day stamp  set by Spellbinders. The image was stamped onto watercolor paper, colored with Prisma Color pencils and blended with baby oil.  A cloudy sky was created by masking and inking with distress inks.  The card base was created with acrylic paint and my Geli plate.  A few Stampin' Up! dew drops and coordinating sentiment complete the card.
