  Happy 34th Anniversary to Art Impressions Stamps!  Bonnie and the AI team have been around a very long time.  Their quality stamps, creative designs and customer service make them stand out in the industry. I celebrated with Art Impressions Anniversary sale and received this adorable Farm Pig free with my order this week.  I couldn't wait to ink and color this sweetie!  The image was stamped onto kraft cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.   I'm sharing a one-layer clean and simple design with the current Hero Arts challenge - For the Guys .  I've used images from the May 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit.  I love this kit and hope to play with even more this week!  The fun birthday sentiment is from one of the May add-on sets called Sea You.  The waves were created with Hero Arts Sea and Sky stencil using distress inks. The CAS design and sketch was inspired by the current AAA Cards challenge.  I stamped the fish image onto a scrap of gelli print and die cut. A fun and quick way to add a little color and the "optional" critter!   Good morning!  I'm sharing a fun No Layer birthday card featuring Gerda Steiner Designs.  I combined a couple of sets to create my scene - Chicken Scratch and Dachshunds . I started by stamping the chicken on kraft card stock.  I applied a mask then stamped a retired Stampin' Up! Chicken Wire background stamp.  The scene was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  So FUN!   Good morning!  I recently rediscovered a fun digital shop in Australia - Beccy's Place.  Beccy generously provides many free digital images that I've enjoyed playing with including this sweet birthday bear. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.  The hat and gift were colored with Copics.  A fun star stencil was used for the background. I've kept my birthday card clean and simple for the AAA Cards 7th Birthday Celebration.  Happy Birthday!   I'm sharing a clean and simple birthday card this morning featuring and adorable new set from Colorado Crafts .  When I saw this adorable set called Watch This! I knew it was a must-have! I stamped the image and sentiment onto water color paper.  It was colored with Tombow markers and blended.  Another adorable pup from the same line by Anita Jeram Puppy's Quilt .  It was also colored with Tombow Markers.  SO fun!   I'm playing along with the current Mix it Up Sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs with a clean and simple birthday card.  My card features the adorable Quakers set from Sugar Pea.   The sketch elements were masked and sponged with Memento inks.  I stamped, fussy cut and colored with duck with Copic markers.   My clean and simple card will also be entered in the AAA Cards Birthday Celebration.  Happy 7th Birthday!   I'm sharing a last minute entry with the AAA Cards CAS Challenge.  While cleaning my craft room recently I came across some older stamps and water color crayons.  This image is from Lockhart Stamp Company and colored with water color crayons. I love the hint of sparkle in the crayons.  It was layered onto SU Bashful Blue cardstock.  The sentiment is also a retired hostess set called Express Yourself from Stampin' Up!   I'm joining the current AAA Cards with a clean simple design including the optional snowflakes.  The edge was blended with distress inks.  The coffee cup is from a local stamping store and the snowflakes are from Stampin' Up! The finished card size is 4x4.  A card base was made by cutting a Lacy Square die cut in blue card stock from SU then layering the 3.5 square note card.   I'm joining the current AAA Cards challenge with a slimline design inspired by the sketch.  Lawn Fawn Turkey Day and Stampin' Up! Best of Cluck was used for the clean and simple design. The turkey was colored with Tombow markers and die cut.   Happy Saturday and Happy World Card Making Day!  I hope everyone is getting crafty today. I'm sharing a clean and simple one layer card featuring a sweet digital image from Gerda Steiner called Warm Fuzzies Bear .   I started by printing the image onto Stampin' Up! Sahara Sand card stock.  It was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I added some shading with a charcoal pencil and blending stub.  The card was finished with a sentiment from My Favorite Things.   I'm sharing another quick Clean and Simple card tonight for the current AAA Cards Challenge.  The current twist is Movies.  This had me stumped until I remembered having several wonderful Elvis images in my stash from Cornish Heritage Farms.  This image and sentiment is from their Elvis Faces I set (retired). The image was stamped with VersaClaire black ink and my Misti.  I drew in the diagonal line and stamped the sentiment. Love Me Tender was one of Elvis' first movies - Not my favorite.  My favorite was Blue Hawaii... the sets, songs, storyline and clothing.  If you are an Elvis fan I would love to know your favorite of his movies! I'm joining the current CAS challenge at AAA Cards.  My card features an older set from Memory Box called Flower Patch. The small floral images and sentiments worked perfectly for the Maxi White Space challenge. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The final card size is 3.5 square. Have you seen the new Chicken Scratch clear set from Gerda Steiner?  Adorable!  I love all farm animals and this set was a must.  I have combined the chicken and sentiment with a retired chicken wire background from Stampin' Up! I first stamped the chicken then masked the image.  The chicken wire stamp was applied over the mask with Tim Holtz Barn Door distress ink.  The chicken was colored with both Tombow and Copic Markers.   A fun clean and simple design (with the optional twist) for the current AAA Cards challenge. I'm sharing a quick one layer card for the current AAA Cards challenge.  I've stamped an older set from Stampin' Up! called Farm Life in Caramel Adirondack ink.  The sentiment is from SU Home to Roost.  One layer cards are not the easiest design style for me.  But I'm pleased with the results. I'm sharing a clean and simple design for a couple of challenges featuring Honey Bee Stamps.  A masked panel was sponged using distress inks then spritzed with water.  After drying, the bee was stamped three times.  A little "buzzy" trail was hand drawn.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee Forest Friends. I'm playing along with the current challenge at Paper Smooches.  Happy Things can pretty much include all of the Paper Smooches stamps!  I pulled out one of my favorites - Birthday Buddies .   The image was stamped onto kraft cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.   I kept the design clean and simple with lots of "white space" for the current AAA Cards challenge.
