Stampin' In Alaska

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Desktop Decor .  I decided to use a recycled acrylic photo frame to make a fun desk calendar. I started by stamping the AI Garden Wagon Mini Set onto watercolor paper with Versafine ink.  The wagon was colored with Tombow markers and blended.  The flowers and grass were stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet.  The background was sponged with a cloud die and Salty Ocean distress ink. A gingham ribbon from Gina K and sentiment from Verve Stamps finish the project.  At year end, this can also become a desktop photo frame!  A small photo can slide into the frame when the calendar is removed. Today the design team is sharing projects which are Anything But a Card featuring Bugaboo images. My project features Pup Summer Right Beside You Silhouette  I found a great tutorial some time ago showing how to make glass clings.  This was an easy technique and one that I will be using again! All you need to start is packing tape, photo copied images and water. Easy Peasy!

Happy Monday! Today is Anything But a Card day with Bugaboo.   I am sharing a magnetic bookmark with  you this week featuring Bugaboo's Lil Kitty on a Limb     This is an easy and fun gift idea for the book  lover in your family.   I simply folded a heavy cardstock strip in half, added the gingham panel and popped up the fussy cut kitty image with foam dimension tape. You can really make these as easy or elaborate  as you want.  Be careful to align the magnets  so that they come together when closed.   Insert in your favorite book!   Thanks for stopping by!
