Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the current challenge at Art Impressions with a fun faux center step card design.  My card features Art Impressions Loads of Fun set.  The set has great coordinating sentiments for the images. I decided to use the faux center step card fold to focus on the main image.  I think the design gives the impression that she is surfing the waves!  Love it! I created the faux step card using this pattern from The Stamp Camp website.     The finished card folds down for mailing in an A2 envelope.  The image was colored with alcohol markers, die cut then layered onto the faux step panel.  Designer papers are from my stash.   I'm joining the current House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge with the optional theme this week - More than ONE fold.  The inspiration for my fun fold (more than one fold) came from the blog of Shoregirl's Creations.  You can check out her beautiful design HERE .  My card features the adorable little mice from the Stampendous Mini Spring set.  This is such a fun set with a variety of mischievous mice!   The image was heat embossed and colored with Tombow markers.  The Spellbinders die cut was mounted onto a small square "hinge" allowing the image panel to unfold and reveal the inside sentiment. Designer papers are from Carta Bella.  Long retired Stampin' Up! Barely Banana and Regal Rose card stock accents the card/cardbase.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi with a fun fancy fold.  My card features Di's adorable Little Mermaid digital image.  The image was printed onto X-press It card stock and colored with Copic markers and Prismcolor pencils.  I fussy cut both images and layered onto card stock from my stash.  I came across this fun fold on Instagram.  A Stampin' Up! demo is doing a series on various card folds.  You can find her blog post and video tutorial HERE is you would like more details.  This was a quick fold and one that I will use again!   I'm joining the current challenge at Beccy's Place with her Funny Farm digital set.   The critters in this set are SO fun!  I've used the pre-colored version for my card combined with papers from Doodlebug Designs down on the farm paper pad. I tried a new-to-me fun fold that I found on Instagram.  If you are interested in the process, I'm including the link HERE so you can see a quick video clip. This is my card when it's opened partially:  This is fully opened: It's a really fun fold AND super easy to make.  My card is a regular A2 size and folds very flat for mailing.
