  Good morning!  I'm sneaking in a very last minute entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge with a monochrome design. My card started with a gelli print using acrylic paint and a stencil.  I then used a silhouette 2003 woodblock stamp from Penny Black called Irises which was stamped directly onto the panel in VersaClaire black ink.  A few gems and birthday sentiment finish the card. I really like how this turned out!  It will be going in the mail to a member of our church who has a birthday this month.   The current Penny Black Saturday Challenge is On The Farm .  This is an older (2006) wood mount stamp from my stash called Spinning A Yarn.  The image was stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  It was layered onto a variety of designer papers from the Carta Bella Farm to Table paper pad.  A few enamel dots finish the card. I used baker's twine for the ball of yarn with this image a few years ago.  You can see it HERE .   I'm joining a few challenges with a mixed media design featuring Penny Black Irises wood mount stamp from 2003.  I love the water color effect of the image. I began with water color paper and smooshing several layers of Hero Arts reactive inks.  Acrylic paint was lightly splattered for additional dimension.  Stampin' Up! gems, a die from Stamplorations and gingham bow finish the card.   I'm sharing a scenic mixed media card for the current challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge . The base panel is a gelli print using various textures and acrylic paint.  To be completely honest, this one almost went into the trash!  While searching for a background for the Penny Black Panoramic Cling stamp I came across this print and just knew it was right. I used my Misti stamping platform to align the telephone pole/wire and fencing.  As you can see, the telephone pole/wire stamp is quite large.  I stamped twice with Versafine black to get a good image. Designer paper is from BoBunny Alora Collection.  A sentiment from Stampin' Up! and enamel dots finish the card.   Happy Wednesday!  Hope your week is going well. I'm playing along with the February Penny Black Saturday Challenge with the option of Wings.  I went through my stash of gelli print panels and found this one to coordinate with Penny Blacks Panoramic Slapstick cling set . The image was stamped directly onto the Gelli Print with VersaClaire ink.  A silhouette bird die was added from Sweet 'n Sassy Forest Silhouettes die set.  The card was finished simply with a sentiment from my stash.   I'm joining the November Penny Black Saturday Challenge with the optional glitter and glitz.  I really like the sweet pup images in the Waggingly Happy clear set. The image was stamped with Versafine Claire ink and colored with Copic Markers.  A little Copic grey "shadow", coordinating sentiment and bling make an easy focal panel.  Glitter tape from my stash was applied as a border.   The current challenge at Penny Black Saturday challenge is Bingo.  My card features an older Penny Black wood mounted stamp - Irises 2664L.  It was the perfect image for my mixed media birthday card. The image was stamped onto a Gelli Print book page then framed with CTMH card stock.  The MFT die cut sentiment was cut in black card stock twice for dimension.  A few gems finish the card.
