Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #26

Well, it's that time of the week again Sassy Cheryl fans! Time to share what project we've been working on during the week. It's been a busy week at my house but I've managed to make a couple of cards. The card on my workspace is for the weekly My Favorite Things sketch on Splitcoast. They always post such fun (and challenging) sketches. My other ongoing project is my Spellbinder die storage. You can see how I am currently storing them .... in a box and in their original packaging. Well, every time I want to use a die I have to pull them ALL out of the box and look through them to find the one I want to use. Very annoying! So, I attended an A Muse Studios party a couple of weeks ago. The demonstrator stored her dies in the A Muse clear stamp storage boxes. They're like CD boxes and can hold two die sets. I have one filled on my desk using magnets. I am still experimenting and I may need wider magnets. Anyway, I hope to label each storage case and store ...

Sassy Cheryl Challenge #64 - Get Krafty

This is my week's submission for two of the Sassy Cheryl Challenges: Get Krafty and Color Me #23 . This adorable little image is called " A Simple Bunch of Flowers " and is one of Cheryl's newest images. You can purchase this image for $2.00 this week and play along to possibly win a FREE digital image from Sassy Cheryl. I am also submitting this for the Get Krafty Challenge over on the Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog . This week Jeni want us to get Krafty ... with our Kraft cardstock that is! This was a fun challenge and a technique that I will use again. My image was colored with Koh-I-Noor pencils and baby oil. The background was done with Stampin' Up chalks. Finally, the card base is Stampin' Up! Not Quite Navy and Basic Grey Hopscotch designer paper. I had a lot of fun coloring this image. Hope you have time to play along this week!

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #25

Can you believe it's Thursday again and time to share over on the Sassy Cheryl blog?! Every week Cheryl asks that we share our current project. It doesn't have to be stamping, but anything that we are currently working on. If you take a photo, share and enter HERE you might win a free digital image from Sassy Cheryl. My workspace is pretty clean this week. I did manage to print out a few of my recent winnings from Sassy Cheryl. I have also started coloring the image for the Color Me Challenge on Cheryl's blog. I hope to have that finished tomorrow night! The finished card in the background was for this last week's My Favorite Things sketch challenge. I am a coffee addict and thought the image from the A La Mode " Miss You a Latte " was just adorable. This sketch was a big challenge for me but I had so much fun putting it together. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #82

This week's challenge over on Mo's Digital Challenge blog is " Here Comes Summer ". What better to start the summer than a day at the beach soakin' up the sun! I think this little image called " Pool Party " is so adorable and fun to color. Bella and Bronte are ready to hit the beach and soak in some sun! The image was colored with Copic Markers, Koh-I-Noor pencils and baby oil. I paired the image with Cosmo Cricket Snorkel designer papers. The sun is a die-namic from My Favorite Things and dry embossed with the Swiss dot cuttlebug folder. Flower Soft was added for a little sand! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #63 - Ribbons and Bows

Jodi's challenge for us over on the Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge blog is "Ribbons and Bows". I've combined this challenge with this week's Color Me challenge . I used this adorable new image by Cheryl called "Artificial Flower Girl". Isn't she adorable? I had so much fun coloring this image with my Copic markers. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #24

Sorry Sassy Gals! I'm running a little late with my " Show me " post this week. Where does the week go??! I have a few new goodies from A Muse Studio. I was invited to one of the new in home parties this past week. I just love their products.... of course, I had to buy a few things for my stash! The A Muse demonstrator had a pair of the tonic Spring Cut fine tip detail scissors at one of the work stations. Wow, are they fun to work with. I added that to my order right away! Well, that's about it for me this week. Hope to get my Sassy Cheryl's challenge card finished and posted. Hope you get a chance to check back and give a comment on that as well. Have a great week, Ladies!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #62 - Think Pink

This week's challenge over on the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog is Think Pink . I don't use pink often, but I do think it's sweet with this little image by Cheryl called "Bubble Blowers". I've had so much fun coloring and creating with this image. I thought I would try something a little different this week and mimic the polka dots and bubble with circles on the base card. I'm happy with how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #23

Hi! It's another week of peeking into our workspaces over on the Sassy Cheryl Blog . The sassy's are taking a peek at what everyone else is doing this week! It's fun and an easy way to possibly win a Sassy Cheryl digital image. This is my space this week...... I decided to make a recipe board for my mom as a Mother's Day gift. She remodeled her kitchen a couple of years ago with a vintage theme in mind. I hope this project fits right in! You can see all of my supplies below. I found a thin metal wall hanging at JoAnne's for $3.00 and covered it with October Afternoon designer Papers using Mod Podge. Most of the real decoration is from a Crafty Secrets kitchen themed sticker sheet. It went pretty quick after I got started. Here is the completed project. The base is metal so magnets will hold the recipe card. I have attached a magnet to the rolling pin sticker to hold this recipe card. Thanks for stopping by!

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #80

This week Lydia challenged us to create something " Girlie and Pink " with our Mo Digital images. Check out the samples and all the details over on Mo's Digital Challenge Blog . I had so much fun coloring this sweet "1st Birthday Girl" image. It has been colored with Copic Markers, Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. The balloons have a layer of dimensional glaze and Flower Soft was applied to the cupcake. My niece will be turning one year old at the end of this month. This challenge was perfect for my completion of this little cutie. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #61 - Great Outdoors

This week I combined the Color Me Challenge on Cheryl's Blog with the "Great Outdoors" challenge over on The Sassy Cheryl's Digital Stamp Challenge Blog . Cheryl offered this sweet image called "Bearing Flowers" on her blog at a reduced price for her challenge. We simply had to color and post the image. I've combined the image with her 800 member freebie over on Paper Craft Planet. Such a perfect combination of images, I thought! The sweet Bear has been colored with Koh-I-Noor pencils, baby oil and Copic Markers. I thought he was adorable! I created puffy clouds and grass around him to make an "outdoors" scene. I sponged a scallop die cut with Memento Danube Blue to create the clouds. The grass was colored in with two shades of green Koh-I-Noor pencils and baby oil. The image was cut out with Spellbinders dies. I'm still practicing with the Easel card design. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
