I am squeaking in at the very last moment with my entry for this week's Sassy Cheryl Challenge! Luckily, I came back to check the challenge requirements last night and realized that a snow theme was required. Yikes! I had already printed this cutie "Sassy Sally Plays A Trick" so she seemed to fit the "snowy" requirement of the challenge. This was a really fun sketch. The last challenge of 2011 for the Sassy Cheryl Digi Blog is to use a snowman and a die cut. I must say that I've had a lot of fun playing with this Sassy Sally image called " Sassy Sally Plays A Trick ". You can find tons of fun Sally images over on Cheryl's digital shop! The digital image of Sally and the snowman were colored with Copic markers. I used Spellbinders Lacey Circles nestibilities to cut out the image. I also used a Sizzix snowflake die cut and a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. I'm not sure who will receive this little snowy card. Most of my family are in areas that haven't gotten any snow. Or if they did, it's melted and long gone! This snowy pair of characters is so cute that it will be sure to put a smile on anyone's face this winter!! Thanks for stopping by today! It's a "White on White" blizzard over on the Sassy Cheryl Challenge blog this week! Sassy Judy is our hostess and she's given us a really fun challenge. I really like the effect of white on white, but rarely think to use this easy and effective technique. I couldn't resist using this sweet Sally image called "Sassy Sally Plays A Trick". The image is perfect for this snowy time of year. I also get a chuckle out of their expressions every time I color this image. I used the Cuttlebug snowflake emboss folder with a layer of Stampin' Up! Shimmer white card stock. It may be hard to see in the photo, but it does add a nice subtle shimmer. I added a few rhinestones to the snowflakes and used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch with white and silver card stock then adding a Memory Box snowflake jewel sticker to finish it off.
