Stampin' In Alaska

  Good morning!  I recently rediscovered a fun digital shop in Australia - Beccy's Place.  Beccy generously provides many free digital images that I've enjoyed playing with including this sweet birthday bear. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.  The hat and gift were colored with Copics.  A fun star stencil was used for the background. I've kept my birthday card clean and simple for the AAA Cards 7th Birthday Celebration.  Happy Birthday!   I'm sharing a clean and simple birthday card this morning featuring and adorable new set from Colorado Crafts .  When I saw this adorable set called Watch This! I knew it was a must-have! I stamped the image and sentiment onto water color paper.  It was colored with Tombow markers and blended.  Another adorable pup from the same line by Anita Jeram Puppy's Quilt .  It was also colored with Tombow Markers.  SO fun!   I'm playing along with the current Mix it Up Sketch challenge at SugarPea Designs with a clean and simple birthday card.  My card features the adorable Quakers set from Sugar Pea.   The sketch elements were masked and sponged with Memento inks.  I stamped, fussy cut and colored with duck with Copic markers.   My clean and simple card will also be entered in the AAA Cards Birthday Celebration.  Happy 7th Birthday!   I'm joining the current Create A Smile Moodboard Challenge with a fun birthday slimline design.  The Crazy Chicks set was part of their recent release and I couldn't resist!  This set is so fun and includes three fun coordinating sentiments. The card design is the current sketch at My Favorite Things.  It worked perfectly with the chicks and birthday cake! I colored the images with colors from the moodboard using Copic Markers.  They are layered onto red gingham - also from the moodboard.   I'm joining the current Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge - Fun in the Sun.  I've created a fun beach bag shaped card decorated with images from the February 2021 Monthly kit. The images were colored with Copic markers and die cut.  I added a little "Aloha" sentiment to finish.  I'm ready for the beach!   I'm joining the current AI challenge - Under the Sea - with this sweet turtle image.  This was a 2020 Freebie with purchase.  I was lucky enough to receive it from another AI fan who had a duplicate!  Isn't he SO cute?! For my mini slimline design, I started the scene by using distress inks on my gelli plate with spritzed water.  The "rays" were stenciled with distress ink.  I used an older technique, shared by Janet Axtman , for the "sand" using torn card stock .  I found the coral and seaweed stickers in my stash.   I attached an actual tiny star fish from my stash as well.  I'm really pleased with how this turned out.  It will go into my stash for that special "someone".   I'm joining the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things with a slimline design birthday card.  I recently purchased Fast-Track friends and couldn't wait to play with the cute racing critters. The images was stamped onto water color paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.  Designer papers are from MFT Road Trippin' and Colorbok. This fun birthday card will be going to my  second cousin, Landon, who turns 3 next month .  I think he will enjoy it!   I hope everyone has a little crafty time this weekend!  I'm getting a head start tonight by joining Di's Digi Challenge and a handcolored image.   While I wait for my first order from Create A Smile :) I'm joining the current sketch challenge with this cute monster freebie digital image. I printed the image twice, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  I created my own Polaroid die by using a small square inside a rectangle Spellbinder die.  The coordinating sentiment is also a freebie from the Create a Smile website.   I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday challenge with a mini slim design.  I have used a sweet hopper image from the new Stampendous Spring Mini Clear Set.  It's SO sweet and perfect for my new baby card. The image was colored with Tombow markers and cut with Spellbinder dies.  The sentiment is also from the Spring Mini Clear set.  I used the current MFT sketch challenge design for the mini slim design.  Designer papers are from Pebbles Lullaby paper pad.
