Gina K. Designs Monthly Mix Challenge January - Reactive Inks

Good morning!  I'm joining the current challenge at Gina K. Designs with a fun reactive ink background.   My card features an image from the Gina K. Sent with Love StampTV kit (retired).  There are so many sweet images in this set! The background was created by applying reactive inks directly to a Hero Arts bubble background stamp, spritzing and stamping.  I love the effect! I would like to share my card with the following: Gina K. Designs Monthly Mix Challenge January - Reactive Inks  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

Gina K. February 2021 Monthly Mix Challenge - Love in the Air

I recently came across some older Gina K. stamp sets in my craft room.   One of my crafty goals for the year is to use my older images in a new way.  The images and sentiments in the Sent With Love StampTV Kit are perfect for the February Challenge - Love in the Air. I started by blending distress inks then heat embossed the floral image.  A few sequins and a coordinating sentiment finish the card. This will be going to my aunt and uncle who are celebrating 50 plus years of marriage this month!  Big Congrats! I would like to share my card with the following: Gina K. CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 8

This is Day 8 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration . Lori Craig is our hostess and she selected the following sketch: Here is my take on the sketch using a Gina K Designs StampTV kit "Sent With Love": I've paired the image with paper from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper pad. Hearts were cut out of felt and card stock with the Spellbinder Heart Nestibilities. A brad heart was added as well. The heart border was made with the Martha Stewart border punch. The main image was colored with Copic Markers and paper glaze was applied to the heart/leaves. You can see a close up of the glaze below: Thanks for stopping by! I'm really trying to keep up with the Anniversary sketches. It's been a lot of fun so far! This also qualifies for the StampTV challenge - adding texture .
