Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero: Challenge - By the Sea

The current Hero Arts challenge is By The Sea.  I'm playing along with the May 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit.  It's full of super fun sea critters and coral. I started by stamping the large coral image onto water color paper.  I used a water color wash to get the soft effect then splashed blue on the entire panel.  The fish images were stamped onto various gelli prints and die cut.  I finished with a sentiment from the kit and sequins. I would like to share my card with the following: Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero: Challenge - By the Sea PIP Challenge:  #2226 Anything Goes Polkadoodles Craft Challenge:  Week 26 Anything Goes   Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge:  June Anything Goes The Paper Shelter Challenge:  #518 Under the Sea

My Favorite Things Color and Sketch Challenges

I'm joining the current sketch and color challenges with a fun birthday shaker card.  My card features the retired Happy Bday Centerpiece die.  I have never been very successful with shaker cards, but thought this die would be perfect.  The finished card is 5x7 which is larger than I normally create, but it really ended up nice! I incorporated the current colors with the sequins and sentiment strip from BB Greetings Galore set. Graciellie Design September Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the September New Release blog hop featuring Graciellie Design .  The design team is sharing lots of fabulous inspiration featuring several new digital sets that are available now for purchase at Graciellie Design Digital Shop . I chose to work with the lovely #blessed digital set. I began my card by copying two files of the fuchsia image and sentiment into a Word document. One of the images was sized slightly larger than the first.  I then printed two copies onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored the image was Copic markers. Colored blooms from the second copy were fussy cut and adhered with foam tape to the first copy for added dimension. Sequins and paint splatters were added to finish the clean and simple design. The finished image panel was layered onto Neenah Classic Crest Black and Magenta BASIS #80 card stock from Paper Temptress . Really lovely weight and fabulous quality papers....
