Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #87

I'm joining the current sketch challenge at Your Next Stamp with their adorable Aquarium Antics stamp and die set.  This set is so much fun!  It includes several puny sentiments, water critters and two fish tanks for fun scenes. I started the card by experimenting with Tim Holtz Alcohol inks on Yupo cardstock for the base panel.  I mixed Indigo, Mermaid and Lettuce.  I kept adding layers, spritzing alcohol and blending solution until I was satisfied with the coloring. I layered a white panel with the circle cuts on top of the Yupo.  Finally, I spritzed Dylusions ink on the white panel for an extra "water" looking effect.  The little critters were stamped onto water color paper, colored with Tombow Markers and die cut. Of course, I couldn't resist adding googlie eyes to the little crab!  He just makes me smile.  I finished with a few enamel dots for extra color and texture.
