Unity Friends with Flair and {be Inspired} Challenges

Can you believe this is our last Friends with Flair for 2013? I can always use an extra Birthday card in my stash.  So, I pulled out Unity's " Candles and Cake " Itty Bitty stamp for this week's card.  I have combined it with this month's {be Inspired} Challenge color combo. Don't forget to leave a comment for the chance to win a Unity prize! I'm also submitting this card to the following challenges: Sweet Sunday Sketch #200   Tuesday Morning Sketch - Anything Goes #130 Thanks for stopping for a closer look! Hope you have a creative and relaxing weekend.

Create With TLC - Dear Food

I'm stopping in with a quick card using a new fabulous digital stamp set from Create With TLC called " Dear Food ". This set has 6 fun sentiments and two coordinating images.  I LOVE coffee so this set was perfect for me! I couldn't resist using the vintage  coffee pot and coordinating sentiment on my card.  The sketch is from this week's Sketch Saturday challenge week #276.   Thanks for stopping by for a closer look! Don't forget to stop by Create With TLC and check out all of the fabulous digital stamp sets, sentiments and graphic art.

Meljen's Designs Challenge #159 - Mom

I wanted to share a card for this week's Meljen Designs Challenge for Mom's.  I colored this sweet Meljen digital image last week while I was traveling.  She is called Little Girl Bear Hugs and you can find her in the shop HERE . The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils blended with baby oil.  I added 3D paint to the flowers and skirt for slight dimension.  All designer papers are from the Basic Grey pb&j paper pad.  The digital sentiment is a perfect compliment for this image and is from Create With TLC . Finally, they layout of the card was provided by this week's Sketch Saturday challenge blog:

Sassy Cheryl Challenge #167 - Lace and Handmade Flowers

This week's Sassy Cheryl Digi Challenge is "Lace and Handmade Flowers".  I used the adorable "Sally Meets Bella" image for my card this week.  I'm not positive, but I think this image may be retired.  It's so adorable that I hope Cheryl brings it back to life in her new shop! The handmade flower was made using a MFT Die-namics flower die and matching papers from the Echo Park This & That paper pad.  The image was colored using Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  Shading has been added with a charcoal pencil.  Below is a close up of the colored image. The sketch is courtesy of week 258 Sketch Saturday challenge:   I am also sharing this post with the ladies over on the Sassy Cheryl Show Me Challenge Blog .   There is time left for you to enter the fun.  Hop over and check out the details!

Bugaboo and Sketch Saturday #255

I'm back with another card using this week's Sketch Saturday card sketch.  I have combined it with this week's Bugaboo Bingo challenge.  Here's what I came up with using this week's Free Bugaboo Pretty Cow image.  Isn't she adorable? Here is this week's Sketch Saturday sketch: Here is the Bugaboo Bingo card for this week's challenge: My card includes a Bugaboo image, pearl and (stitched) border.  I printed the image two times and colored with Copic markers then the head was popped up on dimension tape.  The sentiment was computer generated.  This sweet Thank You card will be going to my sister for her stash.  She has two girls with Birthday parties this Spring which means sending out Thank You notes. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!

Timeless Tuesday and Sketch Saturday

Hope you are having a great weekend!  It was beautiful today in Anchorage... 40 degrees and sunny.  I still have about 2 feet of snow in my yard, but the streets are clear and the snow is melting. I'm posting my card for this week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge to Frame It!  I have also used  Sketch Saturday's Challenge #255 design provided by Jen. Here's my card using Flourishes "Stitched for You": This will be going to my Mom next month for Mother's Day.  She is currently a knitting fiend!  Beautiful creations and she really enjoys the craft.  The image was colored with Copic markers and Framed with a Spellbinder nestibilities die.  The yummy designer papers are from MME Quilting Bee paper pad. Thanks for stopping for a closer look!

MelJen Designs Challenge #155

This week's Meljen Designs is "Round and Round " - to include circles on our card.  Here's what I came up with using MelJen's Mama Whale image: The sketch is from this week's Sketch Saturday #254 challenge: The background panel for the card was created by sponging the negative of several Spellbinder circle dies.  This was the challenge for this week's Splitcoast Stampers Mix-Ability challenge.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.
