From the Heart Stamps hosts a fun bi-weekly challenge which includes a sketch and fun twist. My card this week features the adorable new digital Spectacular Birdbrain  The digital image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored with Copic markers. Shading was applied with charcoal pencil. The background was sponged with Memento inks and a few gems were sprinkled in for fun. It's time another fun sketch with From the Heart Stamps. I created a card using this week's sketch... I couldn't work in the twist. My card features the new digital set Nerd Boy Balloon I had a lot of fun with this image. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added  Glossy accents to the balloon and glasses. The coordinating papers are from My Mind's Eye. Spotlighting My card features a newer image from FTHS Birthday Pup It's been a long time since I have tried the spotlighting technique.  But the effect is really fun. This week's From the Heart sketch challenge   is a really fun one and the twist is  to create a circle shaped card. I tried to combine both on my card this week which features the adorable FTHS set Inner Tube Birdbrain   I had a lot of fun putting together this shaped card. I used a template to create the sun shaped card. The wave die is from The Cat's Pajamas and the digital image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and adhered with foam tape.  I added yellow Stickles to the sun rays for extra dimension. A few month's ago I stumbled upon the  fun progressive  Stamp of the Month challenge at From The Heart Stamps. So, each month you create something with the Stamp of the Month. You can either purchase it or use the coupon code to get the image free with purchase. The fun part? Once you start using the SOM, you get the next month's stamp set FREE. Faith is doing a little snow in July theme and this sweet snowman is the August stamp of the month. Candy Cane for Snowman I went with a very clean and simple design.
