Well, it's Thursday again and that means another "Show Me" over on Sassy Cheryl's Blog. My sister called me a few weeks ago and asked a "favor" of me. My niece will be turning 1 year old on May 29 and my sister was looking for party invitations. Of course, all she could find was the cheesy kind of invite at Wal-mart with Dora the Explorer, etc. So, she calls her big sis and asks "Can you make a few party invitations?" Well, I can't refuse my little sister AND my baby niece can I? So, this week I'm making 16 birthday party invitations. As you can see, I'm keeping it pretty simple and did most of the work on the computer. The main image is from Heather Ellis' Pure Innocence digital image line. The dresses will be paper pieced with green, orange, pink or yellow gingham card stock. A dew drop has been adhered to the cupcake cherry for additional dimension.
