Stampin' In Alaska

I'm so honored to have been invited to Guest Design with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the month of July.  I have been a customer of Sweet 'n Sassy since their beginning.  Korin Sutherland began Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps , LLC in 2007 as a small, family-owned, Christian company offering their own brand of clear stamps, dies, stencils and digital products to the paper crafting community. The SNSS products are proudly made in the USA and offer many Scripture based stamp sets.  Be on the lookout for a new company name soon - Creative Worship Stamps! Masculine designs are always challenging for me.  But when I saw the Birthday Guy clear stamp set from Creative Worship Stamps I knew it was a must-have!  This set contains four great sentiments - three are specific to the guys. I began by sponging a colorful cloudy sky then stamping the tree and moose image from Creative Worships Forest Silhouettes stamp set .  A couple of bird dies from the Forest Silho...

I started my project with a gelli print tag from my stash.  The Scripture from In the Psalms set was stamped onto tissue paper and applied to the tag with Modge Podge.     A church building image from the Family of God set was stamped and fussy cut with yellow Stickles applied to the windows.  I also lightly stamped the Psalm 23 Background stamp onto the tag before adhering the church building....

I'm sharing a birthday card today using several of my favorite SNSS products.   I started my card by masking a 1 1/2 inch strip to ink blend using Hero Arts Creamsicle and Lemon Drop inks as a "sunset" for the deer scene from Landscape Silhouettes set.  The grassy pond silhouette image was also stamped at the bottom of the panel.  The deer die cut from the Forest Silhouettes die set was cut with black card s...

My brother and sister-in-law will be celebrating their wedding anniversary this month.  I recently purchased the With Love Clear Stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps which is perfect for the occasion. I started by stamping the Bible verse with black VersaClaire ink then embossing with clear powder.  Spellbinder circle and scalloped dies were used to keep focus on the versa.  It was adhered to designer papers from Carta Bella Summer Market with dimensional tape.  A few yellow and green enamel dots finish the card.   Happy Wednesday!  Hope your week is going well. I'm playing along with the February Penny Black Saturday Challenge with the option of Wings.  I went through my stash of gelli print panels and found this one to coordinate with Penny Blacks Panoramic Slapstick cling set . The image was stamped directly onto the Gelli Print with VersaClaire ink.  A silhouette bird die was added from Sweet 'n Sassy Forest Silhouettes die set.  The card was finished simply with a sentiment from my stash.   I'm playing along with the current challenge at Di's Digi Stamps.  This week we were asked to include a digital element.  I was a recent challenge winner and found this cutie in the shop Aeroplane Racoon .  I'm loving Di's racoon images! The digital image was printed onto X-Press It card stock, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  It has been adhered with dimension tape to a background paper from Carta Bella The Great Outdoors paper pad.   A birthday sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy finish the clean and simple design.  I was so happy when I came across the background page.  It works perfectly and made this card super quick!   I'm sharing a masculine farm scene card featuring Unity Stamp Company's June 2023 Monthly Kit.  The image was stamped onto water color paper and water colored with Altenew half pan colors.  Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles Large die cut was used for both the image and black mat. The base panel is a Gelli Print from my stash.  I used Sweet 'n Sassy's chicken wire stencil over the gelli print.  A few enamel dots finish the card.   Happy Wednesday!  What a crazy week's it has been already.  And only half way to the weekend.  :) I created a colorful summer card featuring a digital stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy called Butterfly & Flower .  Of course, if you follow my blog, you know that I love the convenience and sizing options of digital stamps.  This image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. The Gelli Print panel was die cut with Sunny Studio's Frilly Frames-Hexagon die.  I then die cut black card stock with the hexagon to layer.  The sentiment is also from Sweet 'n Sassy's Timeless Hymns clear stamp set.  I {LOVE} all of the wonderful hymn sentiments in this set.  We are so blessed that the owner of Sweet 'n Sassy, Korin Sutherland, creates these beautiful sets for us!
