Stampin' In Alaska

  I was the lucky winner of the IO challenge recently and purchased the adorable Blue Footed set by Dina Kowal.  This cute guy makes me smile and the sentiments are perfect. I stamped the image onto Stampin' Up! Smoky Slate card stock.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and charcoal pencil.  I kept the design clean and simple since this will get mailed.   We are certainly seeing Fall colors here in Alaska!  The current Impression Obsession Challenge to use Autumn Colors is perfect.  My card features a retired IO set - CL156 Smell the Coffee.  Be sure to check Impression Obsession for all of their fun stamps.  Don't forget to check the digital stamps as well! My card base was created with a Gelli plate using acrylic inks and various textures. I stamped the IO coffee stamp with my Misit a couple of times with VersaClaire ink.  The cups were colored with Tombow markers.  I used a white pen to highlight. A ribbon and sentiment from the set finish the card. I'm joining the Summer Fun challenge at Impressions Obsession with their cute digital freebie Better Days .  This perfectly represents my summer weekend getaway!  I colored the digital image with Copic Markers and layered onto a yellow gingham in my stash.  The bright colors are so cheerful and I love the whimsical camper and patchwork hill.
