Stampin' In Alaska

  While going through my STAMPlorations stash this week I came across a couple of freebie items that Shery tucked into my order.  The Retro People ATC  seemed to coordinate perfectly with #12 Mixed Media Card Front .  I matted both panels with cardstock from my stash and a Die-Namic from My Favorite Things.  A really quick masculine card! The paper goods from STAMPlorations are fabulous quality. designs printed on 120# (325 gsm) matte cardstock — it’s REALLY thick! Each card front is approximately 4” by 5.25” — perfect for your A2 cards!   Shery Russ, owner of STAMPlorations, is hosting a Spring Fling blog hop and linky party .  What better way to celebrate the season than with creative inspiration, prizes and a challenge. My card features paper goods , stickers , and the Perched Bird die from STAMPlorations.  The bird die was cut with both black and white cardstock then adhered with dimension tape.  Stickles were applied to the flowers and a sentiment sticker finishes the card.   I'm joining a few challenges this morning with a quick card featuring Stamplorations Things with Wings card front .  These card fronts are super thick and are perfect for a quick A2 size card.  A simply framed Scripture stamp from Verve Stamps (sadly out of business) has been applied with dimension tape.  I've applied Stickles to the bee wings and finished with a few gems from Stampin' Up!   I'm joining the April Anything Goes challenge at STAMPlorations with a mixed media tag.  My tag features Bloom Border #1 by STAMPlorations.  It was stamped onto a gelli print and heat embossed then fussy cut. Shery is having a fantastic Spring Cleaning Blowout sale .  Lots of items are going at great prices! The tag base was created with acrylic paints and an embossing folder on my gelli plate.  Below is a photo of the gelli print used for the Bloom Border stamp.   The tag was finished with black twine, organdy ribbon from my stash, a gem and a Verve leaf die cut from glitter card stock.  I used a sentiment from the Grace So Amazing set from Creative Worship Stamps.   After a few years of hiatus, Shery Russ is back in full action with new products and fabulous inspiration!  She generously included a sneak peek sheet of the new Faded Botanicals collage pack in my recent order.   The papers are so beautiful that I couldn't cover it up!  I ended up die cutting the 5.75 x 8 sheet of paper into 6 smaller panels.  They've been layered onto SU Basic Grey cardstock then strategically placed on a 5.5 square card base to showcase each image. ***CHECK BACK*** The last two panels are in progress and will be shared later in the week. The Mother's Day sentiment and silver pearls are both Hampton Art Studio.  I pulled out some coordinating papers from Basic Grey for the base panel. I didn't get a chance to play with this adorable coffee cup digital from Stamplorations during the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop.  I saw so many fabulous projects during the hop! The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut and colored with alcohol markers.  I sponged a Hero Arts stencil lightly with Memento ink for the base panel. Sharing a card for Day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Hop featuring Super Sponsor Stamplorations.  I printed the digital images onto Stampin' Up! Whisper white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers.   I kept the card simple by layering onto papers from the 2010 Stampin' Up! In Color collection.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! I'm joining the current Theme and Sketch Challenge at STAMPlorations.  I chose to play with the theme (my Favorite) COFFEE!  Sherry generously posted this Coffee and Roses Collage digital image as a give away earlier this year.  You can check the post HERE . I started by printing the image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock then colored with Copic Markers.   It has been layered onto SU Cameo Coral card stock and MME Breeze designer paper.   I finished by applying liquid applique for dimension.  A few pearls and Stampin' Up grosgrain ribbon finish the card.
