Sassy Cheryl, MFT sketch & Simon Says!

I hope you are having a great weekend! We've had a beautiful, sunny day here in Anchorage. We even managed a hike with the pups earlier today! I'm stopping in to share a card that I created for Mother's Day. The sweet image is from Sassy Cheryl. I searched my stash of digis this week and couldn't resist using " Pigtail Gabby " again for this card. This week's Sassy Chery challenge is "Lot's of layers ". The sweet Gabby image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  It was fussy cut and applied with foam  dimension tape.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC and  called " Happy Mother's Day to Everyone ". Here's a close up of the colored image.  So much fun to color!   Except for the freckles, I couldn't help but think that "Gabby" looks like my little niece!  Maybe that's why I've been drawn to this image  so much recently.  LOL! ...

Sassy Cheryl - Anything Goes

Oh, how I have missed playing along with the Sassy Cheryl challenge these past few weeks! (So much crafting and so little time.) I purchased " Pigtail Gabby " a few  weeks ago ... she is absolutely adorable. Love those pigtails and wisps of hair  covering her sweet face! This week's challenge over on the  Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge blog is " Anything Goes ". I'm taking advantage to get a head start on  my Mother's Day cards. A clean and simple design focusing on the adorable image.  The top border is from Simple Stories, as well as, the die cut sun.  The Mother's Day sentiment is from  Create with TLC.  The digital set is called " Happy Mothers Day to Everyone ". I colored the image with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. Charcoal pencils were used for shading.  I had so much fun coloring this new image!
