  Welcome!  I'm so glad you took the time to stop by today.  I would love to share this sweet peeking bunny with you from the Pajama Crafter Stamps Christmas Peeks set. Watercolor with Water-Based Markers To begin, the peeking bunny was stamped onto X-Press It card stock.  For this card my go-to water-based marker is Tombow, but you can use any brand you have on hand.  I've used Tombow 856 and N00 blender to watercolor the poinsettia.  The scene was finished with various alcohol markers.  Lightly applied glitter glue adds subtle dimension. CREATIVE TIP :  An acrylic block works great as a "palette" for the water-based marker.  It makes clean up a breeze!  Simply rinse the block off with water in the sink or use a wet wipe. Creative Takeaway The colored image is die cut simply and framed with red glitter cardstock from my stash.  To finish the 4x4 square design a few gems and coordinating sentiment were adhered.   Are you ready for Fall weather?  This cute fox image was included with the August new release Christmas Peeks stamp set.  Today I'm repurposing this set for a Fall Birthday card. Getting Started I began by trimming the Pebble Beach card stock A4 base panel to create my scene.  The front panel has been dry embossed with a leaf folder from my stash then distressed with inks and paint. A glitter tape was applied to the edge.  Plaid designer paper was adhered to the inside of the card. Stamp and Fussy Cut The fox image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers.  It was fussy cut and the greenery trimmed so that the fox could be seen "peeking" around the edge of the card.  I chose to pair the fox with Fall colors and thought it would be adorable as a Happy Birthday card!   Creative Takeaway To finish the card a few enamel dots from my stash and coordinating sentiment were added.  Stretch your stash - take a look ...

  The Holiday Season is upon us at  Pajama Crafter Stamps  with the adorable Cheers to the Season stamp set.  Today I will be sharing a fun layered scene featuring the sweet peeking bear image from the set. Stamping and Coloring I began by stamping the image and coloring with alcohol markers.  I lightly applied glitter glue to the glass to mimic bubbles then along the base of the image for icey snow.  Among my stash I came across a puffy 3D paint that worked perfectly to create fluffy fur on the bear's hat.   Adventure Awaits stamp set from Pajama Crafter Sets is great for so many different occasions.  This card will be going to my swashbuckling cousin on his upcoming birthday!  But it could also be used for retirement or even graduation. The Process I began by pulling together coordinating designer paper from my stash then layered with Pajama Crafter Stamps Pebbled Beach Cardstock base.  A couple of nautical dies from my stash were added for dimension. Stamping and Coloring The pirate ship was stamped, and the Tombow blender pen was used with Tombow markers to color the ship and sails.  Ink blended sky and ocean with Salty Ocean distress ink finishes the scene. Finishing Touches The image was adhered with foam tape, and natural jute twine was tied to follow the nautical theme.  Adventure Awaits sentiment completes the design.   Ahoy Matey!  This week I created an ink blended scene inspired by a fun design by Tina Wilstrop .  It was perfect for the coordinating sets from Pajama Crafter Stamps .   Thank you for stopping by for a closer look at this week's project for Pajama Crafter Stamps ! For today's card we'll be combining ink blending, galaxy background, wobbler action and a Faux Center Step (Stair) Card for a fun outer space scene. Ink Blending  I began by creating the blended galaxy background with green and violet distress inks.  The colors were randomly blended onto my 4.25 x 5.50 card base. A deeper violet distress ink was blended from the edges of the base panel toward the center, followed by black soot distress oxide ink blended from the outer edges of the card base panel inward. Lastly, white acrylic paint thinned with a bit of water was splattered randomly across the panel with a paintbrush, creating the effect of stars. Stamping and Cutting The adorable astronauts, rocket, and asteroid images from the Such an Asteroid stamp set were stamped, colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut. I began by stamping Pajama Crafter Stamps Breaking News stamp set and coloring with Copic Markers.  This is a large 6x6 background stamp.  The detailed newsroom design is perfect for so many projects.  The large size is perfect for A2, A7, Slimline and 5x7 cards giving you plenty of flexibility to crop, layer or use the entire scene.   I'm so excited to share my first design team project for Pajama Crafter Stamps! For today's card we'll be combining ink blending, stenciling and wobbler action for a fun underwater scene. Stenciling and Ink Blending I began by creating the blended background with various blue distress inks.  Then layered with a sunray stencil from my stash and inked with a darker blue distress ink.  I like to create my scene first which helps me to decide where to place both the focal image and sentiment. Stamping and Cutting The fish image from Mother Puffer stamp set was stamped, ink blended and fussy cut.  A mini wobbler was adhered for the swimming action. Pro Tip:   To make the most of my stamps, I used the shore image from Adventure Awaits  stamp set for the ocean floor by simply cutting out the ocean waves from the polymer stamp.   The image easily realigns on my stamping platform if I want to use it for the original design.
