  I recently won a gift card from Gina K.  It has been a very long time since I played along.  Below are the items that I chose and it was a great prompt to join the January - Celebrate with Red challenge. The Gina K Hot Dot Foil Mates was the perfect background for my card featuring a retired Gina K. set called Sew Pretty.   The image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut and the dress was paper pieced.  I love the vintage feel of this set.  It's "sew" fun!  I finished the card with lots of layers, ric rac and enamel dots.   I really enjoyed creating with this week's MFT sketch.  SO many possibilities!  I decided to use scraps from my MFT Painted Prints Citrus paper pack.  The stenciled base was created with the "New-to-Me" MFT Inward Element stencil.   The MFT Happy Birthday die was perfect for this project. It's rare that I create a card without any stamping!   I'm joining a couple of challenges with a clean and simple birthday card featuring the July 2018 Hero Art Monthly Kit. I found this "new to me" kit on a swap/sell website recently.  I was super excited to find someone willing to share this adorable kit!  I couldn't wait to play with it. Of course, I found my inspiration on the Hero Arts blog from design team member Jessica Frost-Ballas.  For my CASE of the card I opted for Hero Arts Blue Reactive ink, the heart balloon and a Hero Arts woodblock sentiment - C2770 Enjoy Your Birthday. I love these silhouette style images which allow for a quick card.       Happy New Year!  I'm joining the current challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil with a clean and simple design.  I printed one of my favs from Mo called CoExist.     The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. A strip of designer paper from Pebbles Inc highlights the image.     I'm also joining the Christian Cardmakers Facebook group with a Scripture challenge to start the new year.  I found the Scripture on Papercraft Memories .   I'm joining the current House-Mouse and Friends challenge with a Sparkly card featuring an image from the Stampendous House-Mouse Mini set.   The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  Designer papers from My Mind's Eye Dolled Up paper pad were used for the various layers.  I have omitted a sentiment to be added when an occasion comes up. The pink glitter and rhinestone border was in my stash.  This was the perfect image and challenge to finally use it!
