Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the current challenge at Time Out -  Inspired by Your Favorite Movie .  My card features the adorable Practically Perfect stamp set from Scrappy Boy Stamps.  Of course, my project was inspired by the movie Mary Poppins. The image was stamped with VersaClaire black ink and embossed with clear powder.  Copic Markers were used to color the image then die cut.  The scene was created with a sticker sheet I found in my stash by Frances Meyer, Inc.  I used a "ink smooshed" panel for the based that was on my craft desk from another project (made from extra water color ink).   Good morning!  I'm sharing a fun card that brings back childhood memories.  The new Neverland clear stamp set from Scrappy Boy Stamps is full of characters and coordinating sentiments. My card includes the Peter Pan and Wendy characters from the set.  They were stamped, embossed, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut.  A star stencil was used for the circle panel. The images were layered onto various papers from the coordinating Neverland 6x6 paper pack .  I love this designer paper!  Fabulous weight and quality.   I finished the card with a few gems and coordinating sentiment from the set.   You have to be of a certain age to appreciate the humor of this birthday card.  Scrappy Boy Stamps released a couple of sets last year paying honor to Gilligan's Island.  One of my favorite shows from the 60's.  Of course, I had to purchase them both.  My card uses elements from both Three Hour Tour and Little Buddy .  I'm also joining the Scrappy Boy Sketch Challenge.  I kept the sketch simple and added pattern paper from Carta Bella Beach Boardwalk.   Raise your hand if you watched the Jetson's as a kid!  Me, Me!  When I saw this fun Future Family set from Scrappy Boy Stamps I knew it had to be added to my collection. Scrappy Boy Stamps is hosting a weekly sketch challenge.  I'm playing along with the sketch provided on May 7.  Simple design but perfect for the little "Elroy" image and a radiant sun die.  The designer papers are from Bella Blvd To The Moon.
