All Dressed Up #161 Anything Goes

I'm sharing a fun design featuring ADU Summer Trainers digital image.  The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers. I have been challenging myself to use scraps and items from my stash.  The Bingo panel was on my desk in a pile of unused papers.  Ribbon, flowers and stripped paper were all left from other projects.  It's so satisfying to use up "leftovers".  AND I love how this came together!  It will be going in the mail to my niece for her birthday next month. Beccy's Place August Release - Daisy Elements

The August digital release at Beccy's Place is so fun and versatile.  Daisy Elements is perfect for many occasions.  Both of my cards focus on the summery digital elements of this set.  The first card was colored with alcohol markers and layered simply onto designer paper with a twine bow. The second card was created completely with the pre-colored digital elements in the set.  Print, adhere to a card base, add twine and done!  Easy Peasy! The Daisy Elements Digital set comes with digital papers, buttons, floral images, flags and coordinating sentiments.  Oh, and three delivered card fronts for super easy cards or tags!  My final project started when I discovered a white pillar candle "hiding" in my closet.  I had so much fun creating and "stamping" on the candle.  I used the button and circle flowers from the set.  Finished it with a yellow grosgrain ribbon and coordinating sentiment from the set.  I printed the digital im...

The image panel was layered onto designer papers from My Mind's Eye Reunion paper pad.  A sentiment from Stampin' Up!, several floral accents and dew drops were complete the card. The image was die cut with a Wonky Stitched die and layered onto papers from Doodlebug Hello Sunshine paper pad.  Coordinating retired Stampin' Up! card stock Barely Banana and Pink Passion were used for the card base and panel.  I would like to share my card with the following: Di's Digi Stamps - HAND COLORED IMAGE Challenge PIP Challenge #2309 Anything Goes   We Love Stamping:  March -   Anything Stamped option Spring is in the Air Gem of a Challenge:  Week #5 Anything Goes

I had a chance to color over the weekend while camping.   It was so relaxing to coloring this lovely digital Luminous Bouquet image from Power Poppy.  My card was inspired by the "Pop Goes the Flower" challenge - color the background to make the flower POP.   The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered onto papers from American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Paper Pad.  I also used the current Mojo sketch as inspiration. Paper Smooches Challenge - June Flowers

I'm joining the current Paper Smooches challenge with a couple of their free digital images that you can find HERE .  After rummaging through all of my PS sets I realized that not one of them included a flower!  Thanks to Kim, I was able to join the fun with her generous digital images. I printed the images onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut and colored with Copic Markers.  The cute bird was framed with the PS Polaroid die cut.  I LOVE the font of the sentiment from PS Sentiment Sampler set. It saddens me to see a recent post from Kim, owner of Paper Smooches, announcing that she will be closing the shop.  You can read her full post HERE .  The stamping community is losing another great family owned company who has provided excellent products and customer service.  I personally wish her well and know that we will see her around blogland.  I would like to share my card with the following: Paper Smooches Challen...

Graciellie Design March Release - Happy Moments

I'm stopping in to share a fun new digital stamp release from Graciellie Design this month called Happy Moments .  This set includes the lovely floral jar vase image and four coordinating sentiments. My project started by printing the image onto Copic marker paper  then it was colored with Copic Markers.  I used a uni ball white gel pen for the center of the flowers.  The image was fussy cut and Modge Podge dimensional magic was applied to the jar.  I allowed the Modge Podge to dry for several hours.  The bottle recommends at least 3 hours. I printed the happy birthday sentiment from the set and layered both images onto designer papers from Simple Stories Homespun paper pad.  A paper doily and dyed seam tape ribbon finish the card. Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you will check out Gracie's shop.  This set is also available in deeply etched red rubber through Unity Stamp Company .   I'm sharing my card with the f...

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #10

This week's challenge on the Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamp blog was an inspiration piece. We were asked to interpret the piece using any Sassy Cheryl digital image. I colored this sweet image with Copic Markers and Stampin' Up! water color crayons. The background has been sponged lightly with chalk. I added the primas and floral dp as my interpretation of the inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
