Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #58

Lydia is our challenge hostess over on Mo's Digital Challenge Blog , and this week her theme is to use THREE PUNCHES in addition to using an image from Mo's Digital Pencil. I decided to use Mo's " Coexist " image to make this sweet Thanksgiving card for a friend who is an animal lover. The image was printed on Gina K Luxury layering weight cardstock. I colored the image with Copic Markers then cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Thirteen. The image was sponged with Stampin' Up! Brilliant Blue and Creamy Caramel. The card base corners were rounded with a corner rounding punch. The horizontal panel was layered and the edges were punched Stampin' Up's scalloped edge border punch. Three Punches: Spellbinders Labels Thirteen, Creative memories corner rounder punch, Stampin' Up! Scallop border punch, Marvy Square punch

Mo's Digital Pencil - Challenge #57

Lydia continues as our hostess for this month over on Mo's Challenge Blog , and this week she's set the theme as 'Vellum &/or Acetate" for our cards or 3-D projects. It's been a long time since I've created with vellum. I had a sheet of embossed vellum in my stash and decided to put it to the test with this week's challenge. Mo's sweet image of " Jack and Ginger " was printed on Gina K Luxury White cardstock. I colored the image with Copic Markers and cut it out. The base was dry embossed and I used the Scallop Heart Spellbinder die cut for my vellum window. I added a border of gold Stickles, some vintage lace and a crocheted fleurette. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #37

I haven't gotten a chance to play along over on the Sassy Cheryl Digi Blog for a few weeks. I recently picked up a few of Cheryl's sweet digi images and got a chance to use one for this week's challenge. Sassy Jeni is hostessing this month and she asked us to use Tulle or ribbon on our project this week. Since I rarely think to use I tulle, I took the challenge! I used Cheryl's Terrible Sock Trouble for this sweet card. It was printed on Gina K Luxury layering weight card stock and colored with Copic Markers. The image was layered with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twelve die cut. I hand drew a dotted frame with Inkssentials Opaque white pen. October Afternoon Thrift Shop designer paper and Stampin' Up! Real Red Cardstock were used for the base of the card. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

CardPatterns: Sketch 88

Another fun sketch over on the CardPatterns blog this week. Below is my take on the challenge: I flipped the sketch to focus on a beautiful verse from Gina K Designs "So Grateful" stamp set. The sentiment was embossed with Close to My Heart gold emboss powder. The gold foil is also from Close to My Heart and has been dry embossed with the Swirls Cuttlebug folder. I layered the sentiment with Nestibilities Labels 4 and added A Muse pearls. The vine die cut is from the 2010 Mother's Day special edition Cricut cartridge. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
