Time Out Challenge #254 - New

Happy New Year and welcome to the first Time Out Challenge of 2024!   I'm so excited to have been invited back as a Guest Designer for the current challenge.   We Challenge You To Be: "New". That can be interpreted in so many ways, i.e. new year, new card making supplies, new baby, new love, new job... the list goes on and on.    We are sponsored by Gina K Designs. Winner gets a $25.00 Store Credit and an offer to joining us as Guest Designer. My card features the adorable critters from Colorado Craft Company.  The clear stamp set is called Conga Line .  It was stamped onto water color paper.  This is little group of critters are so fun to water color!  The image was layered simply onto designer papers from Bo Bunny Celebrating Freedom paper pad.   I created the sentiment on my computer using MS Word.  A few red gems finish the slimline design.   I would like to share my card with the following: Simon Says...

Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge: December Anything Goes

I'm playing along with a couple of challenges with my slimline Mother's Day card. The adorable floral image is a digital from Jan's called Friendship Flowers .  I've colored the image with alcohol ink and fussy cut. The slimline sketch design from MFT worked perfectly with the floral bouquet. I've layered the image onto a die cut from Memory Box and various designer papers from my stash.  A Lawn Fawn sentiment die and gems finish the card. My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch and Slimline challenge - Feeling Beachy

I'm joining the Wednesday Sketch and Slimline Challenges at MFT.  Full size slimline cards are not my usual card, but it was really fun to have a larger canvas for this beach scene. This is my first card featuring Birdie Brown's Penguins in Paradise set.  The images and sentiments are SO cute!  I had a lot of fun coloring them as well.  All of the images on my card are from the set. The water was created with the MFT Wavelines stencil.  I started the sky with my Gelli Plate and distress inks spritzed with water.  Once dry, I used distress inks and the MFT Sunray stencil.  An old, but rediscovered, torn paper technique was used for the sandy beach.  Of course, the images were colored with my favorite Copic Markers. Create A Smile - June Sketch Challenge

I'm joining the current sketch challenge at Create A Smile with a set from their June release - Pig Out.   Aren't these the cutest little pigs?! The pigs were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  They were fussy cut and placed onto the "window" panel.  A few Jolee dimensional stickers were added for a backdrop.  The slimline design card was finished with a coordinating sentiment from the set. Your Next Stamp Challenge #152 Trios and Sketch Saturday

Happy Thanksgiving!  I was able to sneak in a little crafty time today and join a couple of fun challenges.  I recently purchased the adorable Photo Booth set from YNS and it paired perfectly with the Sketch Saturday challenge.  I'm hoping that the three panels from the sketch will satisfy the "trios" for YNS.  :) The cute pup and cat were colored with Copic markers and layered onto papers from Echo Park Birthday Wishes paper pad.  A coordinating sentiment from the set finishes the slimline card design. Paper Smooches June 15-28 ANYTHING GOES challenge

I'm sneaking in a fun birthday card for the current Paper Smooches challenge featuring the adorable Boob Tubes set.   The TV images were stamped with Adirondack inks - Lettuce, Bottle and Red Pepper.  I added a few enamel dots to the TV knobs for dimension and sponged the background panel with distress ink. The panel was die cut and adhered with dimension foam onto a recycled paper bag. I'm giving the "Slimline" card design a try for the first time!  A much larger canvas, but fun!
