CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 10

It's Day 10 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration. Lee Murphy is the hostess and she has chosen the following sketch: Here's my take on the sketch: I've used Stampin' Up In Color card stock and designer papers in Island Indigo. The motorcycle is a digital image that I picked on from Cora on her blog: Digital Two for Tuesday . I printed it out and cut it out then popped it up for a little dimension. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #51

Wow, can you believe that it's Thursday and time for another Sassy Cheryl Show Me ?! The time sure seems to fly! LOL! Well, this is my workspace tonight. The stack of envelopes are Thanksgiving cards that are ready to be mailed to family and friends. I had address labels for 27 families! Whew! I have 18 ready to go so a few more to make and address. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and reflect on what we have to be thankful for this year. I am so thankful that my family is healthy and I have another niece on the way! Below is the finished card that you see started on my work desk. The is a digital images from a vintage book called Tic Tock Tales for Children from 1922. I picked this up from Cora over on the Digital Two for Tuesday blog . If you enjoy vintage images you should check her blog! She is amazing at restoring these images that she finds at flea markets, etc. The sentiment is from a Crafty Secrets clear stamp set. Thanks for stopping by to take a look! ...

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #21

It's another week of sharing over on the Sassy Cheryl Blog . Each Thursday Cheryl challenges participants to show what projects we are currently working on. It doesn't have to be stamping (or even Sassy Cheryl) projects! Then she draws a random winner from all of the entries to receive a FREE Sassy Cheryl digital image. Woo-Hoo! Well, my project this week has been on my "to-do" list for some time now. I know many of you are pros at merging digital images. I finally came across a really easy tutorial over on Debbie P's Place using Paint.Net. So, I printed out the tutorial and downloaded the free program then went to work. Below is one of my experiments. I'm still not a "Pro" at this, but I think it has opened up a lot of fun possibilities with digital creations. I have included the final project from my first attempt at merging below. I used a free digital garden gate image with this sweet little boy and wagon from Cora over at her Digital T...

Digital Two for Tuesday 21

Want this badge? Cora Harkins generously posts TWO FREE digital images each Tuesday. This week she shared to retro vintage images HERE . I have created my project with Cora's vintage image as part of the Craft Secrets Challenge over on the Paper Craft Planet website. Darlene challenged us to create a project with the theme of "Thankful" for the month of November. Although not a traditional Thanksgiving card, I was happy with how this came together. I recently visited family in Missouri and got to go to some Flea Markets and found some great vintage lace. I combined the Digital Two for Tuesday image with Crafty Secrets "Thanksgiving" and "Kitchen Classic" clear stamp sets. Thanksgiving to me is family, great food and being Thankful for what we have been provided. Supplies Used: Stampin' Up!
