Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge: Shape Up!

I'm sneaking in a last minute entry for the Shape Up! challenge at Power Poppy.  My card features the Wildflower Mini digital set from Power Poppy.   The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! whisper white card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I pulled out an older Spellbinder die from my stash called Labels Five for the image and matting.  A few enamel dots and sentiment from SU finish the card. Paper Smooches June 15-28 ANYTHING GOES challenge

I'm sneaking in a fun birthday card for the current Paper Smooches challenge featuring the adorable Boob Tubes set.   The TV images were stamped with Adirondack inks - Lettuce, Bottle and Red Pepper.  I added a few enamel dots to the TV knobs for dimension and sponged the background panel with distress ink. The panel was die cut and adhered with dimension foam onto a recycled paper bag. I'm giving the "Slimline" card design a try for the first time!  A much larger canvas, but fun! My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #495

I haven't gotten a chance to join the MFT sketch challenge for a couple of weeks.  But I recently received the new Best Fins set and knew this sketch would be perfect. I started by stamping several of the ocean critters onto watercolor paper.  They were colored and blended with Tombow markers then die cut.  The water panel was sponged with distress ink and a waves stencil from SugarPea Designs. The card was finished with a coordinating sentiment from the set, color cardstock from my stash and a few dew drops. Gerda Steiner and AAA Cards CAS #168 One Corner + Optional Masking

Have you seen the new Chicken Scratch clear set from Gerda Steiner?  Adorable!  I love all farm animals and this set was a must.  I have combined the chicken and sentiment with a retired chicken wire background from Stampin' Up! I first stamped the chicken then masked the image.  The chicken wire stamp was applied over the mask with Tim Holtz Barn Door distress ink.  The chicken was colored with both Tombow and Copic Markers.   A fun clean and simple design (with the optional twist) for the current AAA Cards challenge. A Blog Named Hero - June Challenge Old & New

This adorable Hero Arts Garden Fancy Die has been on my wish list for awhile.  I received it in a recent order and couldn't wait to create.  I also used card stock from the Hero Hues sampler pack in the same order.  Great quality and it embossed/die cut perfectly! I masked and sponged the sky with distress inks.  An older Hero Arts wood mounted Precious Thank You was stamped in the garden die window.  I kept the card simple by finishing with a gingham ribbon from Gina K. HMFMC #318 Always Anything Goes Option of Circle/Dots

Good morning!  I hope everyone is getting time to be crafty this weekend.   I'm sneaking in a little late with an entry for the current House Mouse and Friends challenge using circles/dots.  My card features the adorable Blowing Bubbles images by Stampendous.   I stamped the image twice and die cut the circles then colored with Copic Markers.  The base circle dies were cut from Co'ordinations paper and the base panel is SU Basic Grey embossed with a dot folder. LOTS of dots and circles!   To finish the card, Verves leafy dies were cut using vellum.  I added a few sequins and sentiment from SU.  I'm pleased with the end result!  This will be going into my stash for our church birthdays. AAA Cards CAS Game #167 - One Layer + optional twist Inspired By The Graphic

I'm joining a couple of challenges with this one-layer clean and simple Father's Day card.  The card started by sponging and blending distress ink with the MFT Radiating Rays stencil.  I used my Misti to stamp the Sweet 'n Sassy silhouette image in Versafine Claire black ink.  The sentiment is a retired set from SNSS. I really like how this turned out.  Clean and simple saves on the postage as well since this will be going into the mail in the morning!    I would like to share my card with the following: AAA Cards CAS Game #167 - One Layer + Inspired by the Graphic Word Art Wednesday Challenge:  #444 - 445 Anything Goes   Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  Summer Fun   Stamplorations Stencil Challenge:  June Anything Goes

Di's Digi Challenge - Fold It Fancy

I'm joining the current Di's Digi Challenge - Fold it Fancy with this sweet Love Swing digital stamp.  The image was printed on Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Card folds are definitely a challenge for me.  I usually keep it pretty simple as all of my cards get mailed to family or friends out of state.  So, I chose a simple gate card fold which worked perfectly with this image.   I finished the card with a die from Poppy Stamps and a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  I would like to share my card with the following: Di's Digi Challenge:  Fold It Fancy   Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge:  June Anything Goes  Southern Girls Challenge:  June Anything Goes  Word Art Wednesday Challenge:  #442 - 443 Anything Goes   2 Crafty Critter Crazies:  Challenge #39

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge: #292 Anything Goes

I'm joining the current Anything Goes Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil with one of her adorable digital images called Bossy .  The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White and colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. I found a kind of sassy digital birthday sentiment in my files from Create With TLC.  The image was layered onto papers from American Crafts.  A little floral embellishment finishes the card. AAA Cards CAS Game #167 - One Layer

I'm sharing a quick one layer card for the current AAA Cards challenge.  I've stamped an older set from Stampin' Up! called Farm Life in Caramel Adirondack ink.  The sentiment is from SU Home to Roost.  One layer cards are not the easiest design style for me.  But I'm pleased with the results. Paper Smooches Challenge - June Flowers

I'm joining the current Paper Smooches challenge with a couple of their free digital images that you can find HERE .  After rummaging through all of my PS sets I realized that not one of them included a flower!  Thanks to Kim, I was able to join the fun with her generous digital images. I printed the images onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut and colored with Copic Markers.  The cute bird was framed with the PS Polaroid die cut.  I LOVE the font of the sentiment from PS Sentiment Sampler set. It saddens me to see a recent post from Kim, owner of Paper Smooches, announcing that she will be closing the shop.  You can read her full post HERE .  The stamping community is losing another great family owned company who has provided excellent products and customer service.  I personally wish her well and know that we will see her around blogland.  I would like to share my card with the following: Paper Smooches Challen...

Stamplorations and Coffee Loving Cardmaker Challenges

I didn't get a chance to play with this adorable coffee cup digital from Stamplorations during the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop.  I saw so many fabulous projects during the hop! The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, fussy cut and colored with alcohol markers.  I sponged a Hero Arts stencil lightly with Memento ink for the base panel. Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #9 Sketch

I'm joining the current Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge with a fun birthday card.  I picked up the cute Hero Arts wood mounted birthday cake at my local JoAnn's store this week.   The Hero Arts birthday sentiment has such a fun font and I use it often.  A birthday paper pad from Echo Park, sequins and Stickles finish the card.
