  Welcome to a new Anything Goes challenge at Word Art Wednesday. We have another fabulous Scripture Word Art image this week from Karen Murray. As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computers; but you are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges or to win. We welcome you to share your all you r art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. I tried a new-to-me double bridge fold card this week.  I'm including a link to Karens Kardzz YouTube tutorial if you are interested in the process.  I've included a photo which shows the dimension of the card.  It actually lays flat for mailing.  My final card size is 5 x 6.25. I started by sponging a 5x8.25 piece of card stock using a scalloped die and Memento ink.  Lots of dies were used the create the scene and I finished with a deer image from my stash.  The entire scene focuses on this week...

This week Sassy Dawn's challenge is "Thinking of You".  Well, who could resist using the new " Penny for your Thoughts " image from the Sassy Cheryl shop?!  If you haven't heard, Cheryl is focusing on the Sassy Sally image and she is really on a roll!  Be sure to check the shop for all of the NEW images she has come up with! Here's what I came up with using the new image: In case you've missed it, Cheryl has also started a new BLOG .  Along with sneak peeks of the new designs, she has created a couple of coloring tutorials that are fabulous!  Before I started coloring this Sassy Sally image, I hopped over and watched THIS tutorial on how Cheryl colored the hair, shorts and shoes.  I had to use a couple of alternate colors on the hair, but I like the end result.  I picked up some fabulous coloring tips from the tutorial! This week's CYDI challenge is "A Day at the Beach".  I chose this adorable digital image by LilyPink designs called " Emma & Edward at Sea " for this challenge. This is our inspiration collage for the challenge: Here's what I came up with: The digital image was colored using Copic Markers and cut out with Spellbinder nestibilities circles.  The edges were sponged with Blue Danube Memento Ink.  The sentiment is from The Cat's Pajamas and the paper is from Echo Park. This is the Paper Smooches Sparks inspiration photo for this week's Picture Perfect challenge.  Wow, lots of inspiration in this photo!  I was really drawn to the arrangement of the plates on the wall and the variety of colors.  I focused on this element AND threw in a little aqua color as well. Here's what I came up with:  I used Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals set for this card.  This crab is adorable and the mix 'n match accessories in the set are so much fun.  I added the mustache from the set and googlie eyes.  I used miscellaneous buttons to mimic the plates on the wall of our inspiration photo.  They kind of reminded me of bubbles in my little ocean scene!  The ocean wave die is from The Cat's Pajama's. This week Jeni has challenged us to use stitching with our Sassy Cheryl digital images. I chose to use this sweet image by Cheryl called "April Showers". I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. The image was paired with papers from Echo Park For the Record paper stack. The cloud die border is from The Cat's Pajamas and cut from white felt. I did machine stitching around the panels and base of the card. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

This sweet little image is called "Catch My Drift" The Cat's Pajamas. I have been anxiously awaiting my order for this adorable Cutup from TCP called "Cloud Border". I decided it was perfect for this week's supply challenge with TCP and ran white felt through with the Cutup to get this sweet border. The main image has been color with Koh-i-Noor pencils and baby oil. I sponged the background of the image replicate a cloudy sky. The papers are Beach Babe from Fancy Pants Designs. I am really loving the colors in this paper pack! They are yummy! I've combined it with the Moxie Fab World Fabulous Felt Challenge . Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
