Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge: #281 Anything Goes

I'm joining the current challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil with my center step card.  My card features the adorable digital Dogs in A Boat by Mo Manning.  The digital Word Art Scripture was provided by Word Art Wednesday earlier this year.   The Mo Manning image was printed onto Stampin' Up Whisper White card stock and colored with Copic Markers then fussy cut.  Various papers from my stash were used for the water and clouds.  The Cat's Pajamas Wave die was used with glitter paper for the ocean waves.  A couple of Jolee fish stickers were added just for fun! To get inspiration for my center step card I took a peek at JoAnn Atterbury's fabulous work.  She makes amazing step cards!   I would like to share my card with the following: Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge:  #281 Anything Goes   Little Red Wagon:  #507 Dog Days of Summer Word Art Wednesday- #396 - #397 Anything Goes

My Favorite Things Camp Create - Day 4 Sensational Sliders

I'm sharing my final card with Day 4 of Camp Create with a fun slider card.  Camp Counselor Karolyn has provided a great tutorial with two slider card design options and super tricks!  Be sure to stop by the MFT blog and check it out. My card was created with one of my favorite MFT sets - The Whole Herd by Birdie Brown.  The cow was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers and blended.  A sun and fence die-namic were used to build the scene.  The card was completed with a coordinating sentiment from The Whole Herd. It was a fun and challenging week at MFT Camp Create!  This was my first camping experience, but not my last. My Favorite Things Camp Create - Day 5 Glitzy Glitter

I'm back to share a glittery birthday card for Day 5 of Camp Create with My Favorite Things.  Check out the fun tutorial video from MFT Camp Counselor Stephanie for all of the details. My card started with various strips cut from glitter paper that I recently purchased from JoAnne's.  I love this paper!  All of the glitter fun without the glitter mess! The MFT Happy Birthday die-namic was cut twice and layered then adhered to the base.  A couple of glittery enamel dots finish the card. My Favorite Things Camp Create - Day 2 Remarkable Resist

I'm back with Day 2 of Camp Create with My Favorite Things.  Counselor Barbara demonstrated a great emboss resist technique for Day 2.  My card started by stamping poppies from MFT's retired Pretty Poppies set and embossing with white powder.  I water colored the panel with distress inks then applied ink directly around the poppies. I recently ordered the MFT Prayers die-namic and it worked perfectly with this set and sentiment. Art Impressions Challenge #260 - Birthday Cards

I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge with a fun underwater wobble action birthday card!  I stamped the image from the retired AI Deep Breath Birthday set and colored then fussy cut the fish. Of course, I had to add googlie eyes to the fish.  Stickles was applied to the cake for a little extra dimension.  The image is layered onto a distress ink water color background panel.  I finished the card with the Loopy rings die from Memory Box cut from glitter paper. MFT Camp Create and Wednesday Sketch Challenge #445

I am joining Camp Create 2019 hosted by My Favorite Things for the first time this year.  Day 1 is Wonderful Watercolor.  I have used the current sketch challenge as inspiration featuring Birdie Brown's Mermazing set. The background panel has been watercolored using Tim Holtz distress inks.  I swiped Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean on a sheet protector and misted with water.  I also misted a sheet of Tim Holtz water color paper then laid it on the ink.  I kept spritzing the ink and inking the panel until it was covered.   This is such a fun watercolor technique with different results every time! My Favorite Things Weekly Sketch Challenge #444

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  We have been breaking high temperature records in Alaska.  Crazy!!  So, I'm in the craftroom early before it gets hot.  Oh, did I mention that homes don't have air conditioning??   I pulled out this sweet Birdie Brown set called New Best Friend to play along with the current MFT sketch challenge .  The sentiment is from Birdie Brown Greetings Galore.  The image was colored with Copic markers and fussy cute.  I added some polka dots to the dress with my Copic blender pen. Thanks to those of you who take time to comment.  I know everyone is busy and it really does mean a lot to me!  Big shout out to Lisa Lynn and Maxine especially!! A Blog Named Hero June Challenge - Sympathy

I hope everyone is having a fun and safe 4th of July!  I'm joining the current challenge at A Blog Named Hero with a clean and simple sympathy card. I have been challenging myself to use other coloring mediums and techniques.  These Twinkling H20's have been in my crafty stash for a long time.  I decided that the Botanical Peony from Hero Arts would be perfect for water color.  I started by embossing the image in gold on water color paper.  I painted with Sweet Lavendar and Moss Green paints. The card was finished with a Hero Arts sentiment, sequins and water color splatters.  I have layered it with Wisteria Wonder from Stampin' Up!
