Happy Father's Day

I recently received this fabulous masculine stamp set from Unity Stamp Company called Hook, Line & Sunshine .  It's perfect for the fisherman in your life and best of all it's only $12.47 right now! My card design was inspired by Christine Dearinger over on the Unity Show & Tell FB Group . The image was stamped onto kraft card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  It was die cut with Gina Marie stitched square nested dies then layered onto Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip card stock.  The base panel was die cut with wonky stitched die (maker unknown) with paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).  Inked edges and a coordinating sentiment complete the card. I went clean and simple (no embellishments) as this will be mailed to my father-in-law this week.  He is a fisherman and I think he will like this.   I'm joining the Paper Shelter Challenge with the optional twist of Alter It!  My clean and simple (CAS) design features The Paper Shelter The Most Adorable Panda digital image. One of my favorite features of digital images is sizing.  I used MS Word to resize the B&W lined digital image and cropped it.  It was printed onto Stampin' Up! Beccy's Place May Digital Release - Pond Pals

Beccy's Place is featuring a cute critter digital set this month called Pond Pals.  I had so much fun coloring and creating with this set! My first project features the pre-colored seal image from the set in a Faux Center Step card design.  The image was printed directly onto the glacier background.  I printed the seal a second time, fussy cut, and adhered with dimension tape.  Snowflake dies from My Favorite Things with gems and Stickles serve as embellishment. I came across the Faux Center Step card tutorial recently.  It was so easy and I like the dimension it provides.  You can find the tutorial HERE .  The card dimensions and scoring instructions are below for convenience. The super cute hippo image was enlarged printed directly onto kraft card stock.  He was colored with Prismacolor pencils and layered simply onto designer paper with a few gems. Be sure to stop by Beccy's Place store to find this set and many others.  Beccy als...

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - #304 Anything Goes with Mo

I was the lucky winner at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge for April.  Mo generously provides the winner with a fun image from the shop and a chance to guest design with the team. I've been building up my birthday card stash lately.  I found inspiration on Pinterest for this clean and simple design using Mo's Lazy Mutt digital set.  The images were printed onto Kraft card stock using Microsoft Word.  The sentiments were inserted with Word as well. Prismacolor pencils were used to color the images.  I layered the panel onto polkadot paper from Colorbok. Hope you get a chance to join Mo's team this month.  It's always "Anything Goes" as long as a Mo Manning image is the main focus.
