The Bugaboo Design team is featuring Anything But A Card today. My project is a bookmark  with the digital Book Stack image.  I started by copying the image twice into a Word Document and stacking it. It was colored with Water color crayons  and smudged for the free style effect.  The image panel and base were cut with a rectangle Spellbinder die. Bakers twine finishes the project. The October Progressive Challenge with Gerda Steiner features this adorable Racoon digital image.  If you want to join the fun, simply purchase the image and create a card. The card started with a galaxy background which was a new technique for me. Now, I am hooked!  LOVE THIS! But BEWARE -- it is messy! I had paint all over me last night when I finished the panel. The tree border die is from SugarPea Designs and the image was colored with Copic Markers. I took a big step out of my comfort zone this week with this little water color scene. BUT it was what I envisioned and so I've followed through.  Isn't that what crafting is all about?  Playing, creating, stretching our creative muscle! I am a using a new set from Art Impressions called Road Trip Set . The scene was water colored with Tim Holtz Distress inks.  The car image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  Finished card size is 4.25 square. I'm sharing a card that I finished tonight  for a few challenges.  This could be used  generically, but I will be sending it to a college friend next month for Thanksgiving. The little girl image is a digital set from Craftin' Desert Divas called Coffee to Go This set comes with a pre-colored and blackline image plus a coffee cup for an unbelievable 99 cents! I colored the image with Copic Markers and fussy cut then layered her onto  designer papers from Echo Park. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps. The sketch was inspired by the current SugarPea Designs Challenge. The colors were inspired by the current challenge at Your Next Stamp.  Thanks for stopping by! My card started by printing the image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock. The image was colored with Copic markers and the background sponged with Memento ink.  The image was layered onto  Stampin' Up! Wisteria Wonder card stock and coordinating designer papers. I have missed playing along with the weekly MFT sketch challenge.   My card features a digital Bear-Apple image from Torico as Birdie Brown.   Some of you may remember that Torico designed for  There She Goes.  Shortly after their closure, she sold adorable digital stamps.      The sentiment is from MFT Pure Innocence Li'l Pumpkin set.
