Stampin' In Alaska

  Happy Thursday!  I hope everyone is having a great week. I'm back today with another fun summer themed project featuring the newest release from Gerda Steiner Designs - Melon Muncher 2x3 Clear Set .   For this card, I began with the watermelon designer paper from BoBunny Celebrating Freedom collection.  The guinea pig image was colored with Copic markers and die cut then layered onto Stampin' Up! Real Red and Basic Black card stock.  A few black enamel dots and coordinating sentiment complete the card.   I'm very honored and excited to be Guest Designing for Gerda Steiner Designs this month. I was given the opportunity to create with their newest 2x3 clear set - Melon Muncher .  I love the GSD critters and this one is just the cutest!  Love the the little cheeks and adorable face. My design started with a stenciled background using a Sun Ray stencil from My Favorite Things.  The guinea pig was stamped and masked before inking the stencil.  A few hand drawn grass clumps and gems finish the scene.
