Art Impressions Challenge #435 Furry Friends

For this week's challenge, I pulled out one of my favorite Art Impressions set called Doggie Kisses for a humorous Get Well card.  I've used several different images and a sentiment from the set combined with the Story Tiles Template Die . The images were stamped then water colored with Tombow markers.  A few enamel dots and coordinating designer paper finished this quick and easy project. I will be sharing my card with the following: Art Impressions Challenge #435 Furry Friends Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Stamp It! Art Impressions Challenge - Boy Oh Boy!

Funny how this group of hunters only see the cake somewhat hidden by the deer - who appears very unafraid!  Seems like something that my family hunters might do.  :) When I saw the current "Boy oh Boy!" challenge theme at Art Impressions I knew that the Ole Buck set would be perfect.  There are so many fun outdoor images and sentiments in this set. I created an ink blended background for the hunter image and used a retired Front-n-Backs fence stamp from AI as a border.  The cake image is from Art Impressions Retired Chocolate Therapy set.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut the deer.  It was adhered with foam tape for dimension. Of course, the card was finished with a fun sentiment from the Ole Buck stamp set. Art Impressions Challenge - Floral Frenzy

I pulled out one of my favorite gardener sets (now retired) from Art Impressions called His & Hers Gardeners.  I just love the sassy expression on this gardening lady.  Perfect for this floral birthday greeting. The image was embossed and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut.  I decided to add dimension to my card by fussy cutting part of the scene with the Art Impressions Garden Paper Pack and adhering with dimension tape.  I couldn't resist adding the water hose to the scene!  It's so fun!  The birthday sentiment is from another AI retired set Gotta Garden. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!  I really appreciate all of the comments that you leave.  I hope you have a great week and maybe sneak in a little crafty time! Art Impressions Challenge - Artful Architecture

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Artful Architecture .  While browsing through my Art Impressions stamp collection I came across the retired Road Trip set.  Perfect!  I've combined it with the new Story Tile die to showcase several types of fun architecture. I trimmed the Story Tile die to accommodate a slightly smaller card 4x4.25.  Each of the images were stamped then colored with Copic markers.  The die was cut with gingham paper from my stash.  I fussy cut the small car image and adhered for dimension. Art Impressions - Enjoy the Ride

I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with a fun interactive card featuring their Born To Ride Se t and Garden paper .  This is my first attempt using the new Snap 'N Spin accessory from Pear Blossom Press.  They are so easy to use and reasonably priced. The image was stamped onto Neenah Solar White card stock and colored with Copic markers then fussy cut.  A slider space for the mower was die cut with Lawn Fawn Slide On Over (LF1202) dies.  A coordinating sentiment was included to finish the card. Sorry, I'm not very technical but I did a brief video with my phone showing the interaction of the slider.  Hope you get the idea!  I would like to share my card with the following: Art Impressions Challenge:  #429 Enjoy the Ride Simon Says Stamp Wednesday:  Masculine Creative Moments Challenge:  #282 Make It Masculine PIP Challenge:  #2262 Anything Goes

I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge to use the color yellow.  I was a recent winner at Art Impressions and chose Kim Hein's adorable Song Birds and Feeders Set.   The image was stamped with my Misti which gave easy alignment for the bird landing on the birdbath.  I used Strathmore watercolor paper and colored with a blender and Tombow markers. The image was die cut with Spellbinder circle and scallop circle dies.  Cardstock from Stampin' Up! - Basic Grey and More Mustard frame the image.  Seam tape ribbon, dry embossed designer paper from Graphic45, gems and leaf dies from Verve Stamps accent the card.  The sentiment is also from Art Impressions.   I'm playing along with the current challenge at Art Impressions - Monochromatic .  My card features the adorable Frog Set .  The image was colored with Copic Markers.  I went through my paper scraps and die cut several circles from coordinating papers.  An easy sketch with the circles randomly randomed onto an embossed panel. The sentiments with this set are so fun.  I've included another as an inside sentiment:  "I've been toad you're having a birthday!" Art Impressions Challenge #393 Teeny Tiny

It's been a few weeks since I have joined the Art Impressions Challenge .  The current theme in "Teeny Tiny".  My photo is somewhat deceiving since this tag is actually 3 inche x 1 inches. I stamped, colored and die cut images from the AI Dog House Cubbies set (5101) .  Only a portion of the dog house stamp was used by inking only one house and fussy cutting.  The dogs were stamped onto watercolor paper then colored with Tombow Markers. The tiny tag was in my stash.  It was made using scrap papers, adhering to card stock with Mod Podge then die cutting with various sizes of tags.  Each tag is unique and it worked great for my Tiny Project! The chicken couple was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The rocking base started with a large circle die and simply folded in half with a smaller circle of designer paper.  A couple of music note die cuts, sentiment and jute bow finish the card. Art Impressions Challenge #386 My Favorite Peeps

I'm joining the current challenge at Art Impressions with a fun faux center step card design.  My card features Art Impressions Loads of Fun set.  The set has great coordinating sentiments for the images. I decided to use the faux center step card fold to focus on the main image.  I think the design gives the impression that she is surfing the waves!  Love it! I created the faux step card using this pattern from The Stamp Camp website.     The finished card folds down for mailing in an A2 envelope.  The image was colored with alcohol markers, die cut then layered onto the faux step panel.  Designer papers are from my stash.
