Birthday Peeks Card with Pajama Crafter Stamps

Are you ready for Fall weather?  This cute fox image was included with the August new release Christmas Peeks stamp set.  Today I'm repurposing this set for a Fall Birthday card. Getting Started I began by trimming the Pebble Beach card stock A4 base panel to create my scene.  The front panel has been dry embossed with a leaf folder from my stash then distressed with inks and paint. A glitter tape was applied to the edge.  Plaid designer paper was adhered to the inside of the card. Stamp and Fussy Cut The fox image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic markers.  It was fussy cut and the greenery trimmed so that the fox could be seen "peeking" around the edge of the card.  I chose to pair the fox with Fall colors and thought it would be adorable as a Happy Birthday card!   Creative Takeaway To finish the card a few enamel dots from my stash and coordinating sentiment were added.  Stretch your stash - take a look ...

Art Impressions Challenge #210 Let's Distress

The current Art Impressions Challenge is Let's Distress .   I have included ink distressing on the edges of each panel in my summer scene. My card features a couple of images from the adorable Art Impressions clear set His & Hers Campers . I have used the set for a quick Father's Day card. Memento dew drop inks were used to ink  the edges of the panels and the sun die. Inks used were;  Pear Tart, Summer Sky, Tangelo, Dersert Sand and Rich Cocoa. The stamped images were colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. Various dies were used from My Favorite Things and Lil' Inker Designs. Thanks for stopping by for a closer look! Mo's Challenge #149 - Distressing

This week's challenge on the Mo Manning Challenge blog is "Distressing".  I colored this sweet Mo Manning digital image called " Tom & Tilly ".  I began by using shades of brown with my Copic Markers to get a sepia effect.  At the end I colored the floral bouquet and sponged the sunset using Memento inks. Here's what I came up with: In keeping with the challenge, I distressed the image panel and inked it with Memento inks.  I also distressed the edge of the brown panel then layered on an embossed base.  I wanted to keep the base simple so as not to detract from the image. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
