Glittery Cheers to the Season

The Holiday Season is upon us at  Pajama Crafter Stamps  with the adorable Cheers to the Season stamp set.  Today I will be sharing a fun layered scene featuring the sweet peeking bear image from the set. Stamping and Coloring I began by stamping the image and coloring with alcohol markers.  I lightly applied glitter glue to the glass to mimic bubbles then along the base of the image for icey snow.  Among my stash I came across a puffy 3D paint that worked perfectly to create fluffy fur on the bear's hat. Creative Takeaway To finish the sparkly scene a few snowflake dies and silver cord from my stash along with the coordinating sentiment were added.  Even the simplest design can be eye-catching!  Pajama Crafter Stamps Products Used: Cheers to the Season Stamp Set Additional Supplies Used: Copic Markers (E57, E35, B95, R17 G94) Silver Cord Snowflake die cuts Detail scissors (for fussy cutting) Village Die Border Glitter Glue If today's project i...

Floral Happy Birthday

Last night I pulled out my folder of images which have been colored but waiting for the right project.  I often color images when traveling, camping or on vacation.  It's nice to have them ready when a quick project is needed.  It was time to create! This beautiful floral image is from an older digital set by Graciellie Designs called New Beginnings.  It is no longer in her shop but take a peek because she has so many lovely floral sets.  The die cut image has been layered onto Stampin' Up! 2020-2022 Designer Series paper in Magenta Madness.  It was finished simply with a Memory Box sentiment tab. I would like to share my card with the following: Time Out Challenge:  #319 Pick 2 (Birthday, Floral, Monochrome) Simon Says Stamp Monday:  Happy Birthday! Woodblock Wednesday Challenge - Ink Smooshing

Amy Tsuruta hosts a monthly challenge to use our woodblock stamps.  I look forward to playing along each month as it gives me an "excuse" to look through my stash of older stamps.  This month I was in need of an Anniversary card for my cousin and her husband.  This woodblock image from Stampendous (2011) Beachfront Boat worked perfectly.  I've had this one for a while and I believe it was purchased at JoAnne's when they sold the Stampendous line of stamps. The image was stamped onto an ink smooshed (left over ink) page then cut out and layered with black card stock.  A few embossed lines were applied with my cutting board and a sentiment from Unity Stamp Company.  A coordinating border of Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum card stock finishes the card.  My clean and simple design will be going in the mail this week! Monochromatic Hello

Good morning!  I'm sharing a group of monochromatic designs that will be going out to the Send Senior Citizens Love card drive hosted by Splitcoast Stampers .   I was touched after reading Ashley Lynch's story and how she began the program during the pandemic and lockdown of so many nursing homes.  She began sending notes of encouragement personally which is now a nationwide mission. This group of cards began with my large stack of paper scraps.  All papers are from Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo and Peach Parfait. The word dies are Spellbinder  Hello Smile.  Cuttlebug embossing folders were used for the base panel.  A little thread and gems from my stash finish the cards. STAMPloarations March Challenge - Anything Goes

After a few years of hiatus, Shery Russ is back in full action with new products and fabulous inspiration!  She generously included a sneak peek sheet of the new Faded Botanicals collage pack in my recent order.   The papers are so beautiful that I couldn't cover it up!  I ended up die cutting the 5.75 x 8 sheet of paper into 6 smaller panels.  They've been layered onto SU Basic Grey cardstock then strategically placed on a 5.5 square card base to showcase each image. ***CHECK BACK*** The last two panels are in progress and will be shared later in the week. The Mother's Day sentiment and silver pearls are both Hampton Art Studio.  I pulled out some coordinating papers from Basic Grey for the base panel.   Happy Friday!  I hope everyone gets a little crafty time this weekend. I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi -  Animals Acting Like Humans . The image was die cut with Spellbinders Petite Large Oval and layered onto an oval lacey cross stitch cloth.  It has been sitting on my craft desk for months waiting for the right project!  A few paper flowers and Stampin' Up Designer Paper finish the card. BTW- I'm searching for a new photo editing program.  This pho...
