Happy Friday and welcome to a new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge .  This week we are asking you to create using your cute and cuddly animal digis. Here's what I came up with using Sweet 'n Sassy's Dilbert Duck : I pasted the digital image into Word on my computer and used the "Rotate" option under Page layout and flipped the image horizontally.  This gave me a pair of ducks looking at one another.  The sentiment was also created in Word.  The clouds were sponged with Memento ink and a deckle template.  The fence and grass dies are also from Sweet 'n Sassy. A few things to keep in mind as you join the Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge this week: Digital images are required.  You don't have to use SNSS, but we love it when you do and you might get a chance for the Spotlight! It has been a very busy week for me.  We have also gotten over 20 more inches of snow this week then temperatures fell below zero yesterday!  Wowsers!  What happened to Spring this year?! Well, on to our challenge for this week.  Regardless of the weather in your area of the country we want you to "Think Spring" this week.  So, print out your Spring themed digital images and get busy! Here's what I created this week using one of the March digi releases - Magnolia Block : Magnolia Block $3.00 I kept my design simple to focus on the gorgeous magnolia flower.  The image was printed three times and each layer was colored with the new Wink of Stella glitter brush .  The glitter brush works like a dream!  It provides the perfect amount of glitter and is super easy to control.   The center layer was adhered with dimensional tape and the petal edges ...

Happy Friday and Welcome to another Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge ! This week's challenge is to create a masculine birthday card using your digital images.  I must admit that masculine cards are difficult for me so this was definitely a challenge.  Luckily, the Sweet 'n Sassy shop is full  of fun images for all ages of boys and men.   Here is the card that I created for this week's challenge:  I chose to use this sweet pre-colored pup image called " Spot ".  Pre-colored images are so convenient when I need to create a card on the fly!  I printed the image twice and cut out the nose/mouth then popped it up on dimension tape.  It gives just a little additional dimension and interest.  The birthday sentiment is from the " Masculine Birthday Greetings " set. Well, my project for this week is for my niece's 1st birthday.  My sister asked that I make invitations to her birthday party next month.  I used several of the January digi release images for my project. It's finally Friday and time for a new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge .  This week our challenge is for you to use ALL white papers.  You can emboss, ink or color them but they must all be white. Here is the card that I created using one of the new January digi images " Too Tweet ": I layered the white cardstock after applying various dry embossing.  The sweet bird image was colored with Copic markers and highlighted with prismacolor pencils.  Red twine and pearls were added as accents. Happy Friday and welcome to the first Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challeng e of 2013! This week we are challenging you is something new.  It may be using that new products that you've received for the New Year or maybe just trying a new technique.  I used two of the newest Sweet 'n Sassy Digital stamp sets - " Bundled Ava " and " Winter Wishes ". I colored this sweet image with Copic Markers and applied liquid applique to her ear muffs and fur trim.  The designer paper has been embossed then machine stitching added for the sentiment.  The other "New" product on my card is the Memory Box die cut border.  This has been embossed with Stampin' Up!  Dazzling diamonds embossing powder for a slight sparkle. Happy Friday everyone!  This week we have three new Sweet 'n Sassy digital images to share with you.  Our challenge this week is to use your favorite color combination.  The challenge will run for 2 weeks to give the design team time to spend with their families.  We will be back in the New Year on January 4, 2013 with a new challenge.   I was so excited when I got these new images from Korin.  It was so much fun playing with this month's new release images.  They are super adorable and great for the holidays.  They are available for purchase at the Sweet 'n Sassy Digital Stamp shop right now! It's finally Friday and that means it's time for a new Sweet 'n Sassy Digi challenge!  Our challenge this week is to create a tag or use a tag on your project.  This was a tough challenge for me, but I printed out two fun Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Stamp sets and had a lot of fun. I used the pre-colored version of " Eskimo Kisses " and all three sentiments from " Eskimo Kisses Sentiments " digi stamp sets.  I added liquid applique to the main image for some dimension.  I created pockets with two of the card panels so that I could tuck little message tags into the card front.  The tags were created using the Museum Tag die from Memory Box.  The tags were also dry embossed using Cuttlebug snowflake and swissdot emboss folders.  I finished the square panels with machine stitching and a couple of pearls. Well, it's Friday again and that means it's time for another Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge.  This week the challenge is "Interior Decorating" - decorate your card inside and out.  This is something that I really wish I could do with every card.  I am usually so focused on the outside that I forget the recipient will be also looking at the inside!  So, here is what I came up with this week:  This is the outside view.
